- It's been two years since we lost Leonard Cohen but, if last week was any indication, his passion, words, and music will live forever. We often talk about finding the vibe when we sing together week after week, and this one we nailed!
This night was also a fundraiser for our friends at The Tranzac (www.tranzac.org), a beautiful non-profit cultural + community centre, performance space, and bar in downtown Toronto that has been giving all of us a place to enjoy culture, and perform for many years. You can become a member or send them a donation to help keep their doors wide open for decades to come. XO

Got “Goose Bumps” listening to this choir… WOW
A beautiful song by Leonard Cohen sung by beautiful people. At 51 years of age, I nearly cried listening to it.
What a treat to watch so many folks, especially "of a certain age" singing so enthusiastically and without checking the lyrics sheet. Obviously a well-known and loved song! RIP Leonard, and thank you Choir! for honoring him this beautiful way.
I have two beautiful daughters who's mother was called Marianne.... who sadly died of cancer.
When I ever hear this song, I play it regularly I remember her....

One Canadian treasure honoring another! Shortly before his own passing, Mr. Cohen said his final goodbye to the Marianne who inspired this song. Thrilled that this favorite of mine (ever since I heard it on an FM station between Stones and Pink Floyd songs),one of Cohen's earliest and best. With luck people will embrace the message of Choir! Choir! Choir! that there is joy to be had in inhabiting music that is possibly greater than in consuming it.

I love the videos with these regulars more than the ones in different locations. It's like the regulars have become my friends and family that I turn in to catch up on with each video. I have my own little nicknames for different ones that I notice after numerous videos. They make me want to go to Toronto and just hang out with all these awesome people!
