Absolutely gorgeous...both song and songstress. What an incredible talent you had. Tears of sadness and of joy falling down my cheeks . Love you and miss you always, lovely Lynsey. God bless you. xxx
I grew up loving the Beatles the Stones the Kinks Bowie Roxy Music…..and Lynsey De Paul. I loved her. Had such a crush on her. A real guilty pleasure. Some of her music was wonderful especially the song ‘Just Visiting’. Really miss her.
Her songwriting and keyboards skills are up there with all of them plus she was an accomplished producer - but back then it was tough for women musicians to be taken seriously.
@user-ns1fr2yp8l you have summed up my thoughts also..and in such a beautiful way...Lynsey would be proud of you & maybe use your words in a song! If we hold on to these memories of Lynsey she can live forever! Hope you have a great day🎉
Just a passing thought but how could there be 2 dislikes. Cannot imagine 2 people on the planet disliking this lovely and heartfelt performance. (Perhaps they were in fact indeed"on another planet!" LOL.
Colin Yates Would u be surprised that the 2 dislikes came from individuals that look at this beautiful, talented lady and get a little bit of the green eyed monster............No one who knew a little bit about lovely Lynsey would ever dislike her.
@@skygazer6898 Yes agree. I don't ever bother to "dislike" videos. Why would I? Her passing was such a great loss. Thank God for UA-cam and thanks for your supportive words. All the best. Colin.
difficult to say - many younger people don't seem to have heard of her but one successful cover version or film/documentary how her influence is still there particularly for women in music could change that
@@roscoebank8583 Thank you, again! I've been trying to get hold of the actual albums by searching the secondhand record stores, and have just discovered a website called "Discogs"

Oh lynsey ❤❤❤
Feel the need to watch this again and again. She sings so beautifully and this version feels so poignant.
God bless you Lynsey.
A beautiful song, sang beautifully by the lovely, talented Lynsey de Paul.

Really beautiful, one of my favourite Lynsey songs, and to see her sing it live is just amazing, Thank you.
thanks! It's one of my favourites too.
I’m now 60 and I love LdP. But I do wonder if she will be remembered after my generation has passed.

She might have jointed the great majority, but would still be green, forever, for an extremelly long period of time of it!!
The album version is also on on UA-cam ua-cam.com/video/Gma8HGIK2IQ/v-deo.html
