Every Monday, Nick and I race until one of us wins 7 FlounderFest events. There will always be a punishment for the player who doesn't get to 7 decided at the beginning of every season! Each week is a completely new set of rules!

This episode probably required the most concentration. (especially having to worry about the 9 other ghost Funky Kong's continually overlapping my character)
There is a high chance this game mode will make it into CTGP in the future because of its popularity!

@@Nightcaat I'm sure someone who holds multiple world records is more consistent than most normal players. Losing out on a few tenths of a second might be inconsistent for WR attempts, but not in this mode.
@@Nightcaat Lol he played it on his stream and just destroyed everyone. He played like 5 races against good competition (multiple 9000 VR players including Justin) and won them all, mostly by large margins

Are you thinking of adding to this mod in any way? I really enjoyed watching it but an idea could be to make so the other racers in the game are slightly faded out so it is easier to see the lines, I understand it is easier said then done, great work regardless Melg you never disappoint

@@themax2848 I think Troy and Nick were talking about how they were working on that specific feature, as well as fading of other player's names to make it easier to tell who you are
Maybe add a thing where it tells you how far you are behind first place after each lap

(From a viewer perspective) I love seeing a whole pack of Funkys on one screen moving so harmoniously. I wonder how this would go if only the collision was removed but items would still work.
this mode seems like a great addition to the game. good for new players to observe other's strategies for tracks and learn the game a bit better and good for veteran players to have fun setting scores and playing time trials with a bit of a twist

As a competitive player, I would love to see this mode with a skill rating system as it’s just pure skill no luck.
I've never stayed interested in a UA-camr for as long as I have for Troy. I have been watching for almost two years, every video, every live stream, playing against him on CTGP and I am still just anxiously waiting for a new video every day. Love this content.
That's honestly such a cool game mode and I like it that it's purely about skill in this mode.

I like how everybody is just clumped together on delphino, not doing anything to each other and just hearing all the Funky Kong noises

This reminded me of Mario Kart 7's time trials, where you could time trial race like this with 7 different ghosts.

When Troy and NMeade have one try, while commentating with a bunch of other players in their view and still beat most of your Time Trial PBs.

Fact: I saw this gamemode in May 14th 2019 in my dream, 3 shrooms each player + transparent character/name and directly contacted Mr.bean for this to happen then said that it had a chance to appear in the future, now I can die in peace
It would be cool to have a mode where the only change is removing collisions between racers. Like, you can still use items and stuff but you don't knock eachother around

I've been playing a lot of Asphalt 9 lately and this is a common multiplayer game mode there
I think more racing games should have this feature as an option, no clashing, no bumps, just a pure test of skill and good lines

This'll probably get verrry buried, but what if you guys raced each other with a permanent blooper effect the entire time for one of these? It'd be interesting to see how the (pretty much) least impactful item makes your lives harder when it's a permanent debuff.
