Great video. I've been using the Original CC Cream foundation from IT Cosmetics for a number of years. I first ordered it off of Qvc and now get it at my local Ulta .. I'm 51 and have dry skin. I use a damp Beauty Blender to apply. I've always liked this and never had any issues, I also use IT Cosmetics concealer under my eyes .. Thank You for sharing, it looks Beautiful on you ! 💖💖💖
Yes, I find it easier and more flawless applying it with a beauty blender, as well :) I bought their perfection complexion brush, and it’s really nice brush but it’s still not as good as a beauty blender. Honestly, beauty blender changed the makeup game for literally the whole world. Such a good tool! ❤
I can appreciate the fact that you are so knowledgeable on your products. You've clearly been more in depth with your research that most folks on UA-cam...👏👏👏
Thank you so much! I have the Original formula, along with the Illumination one. I MIX them! OMG! Try mixing them together, especially since your original is a bit too light. It’s just beautiful.
As,a mature woman (58 today 😜😜😜) with dry skin I use the original and love it 💗💗. I've never had to touch it up, it just seems to last for me. I don't have to powder, so it keeps my skin hydrated and healthy looking. Great info Lauren, thank you xxx 💕💕💕xxx
I love the Illuminating version but to keep it 100% honest... when you wear it out in the sun light your face looks like when Edward (Twilight movie) reveals himself in the sun to Bella 😂. No lie! I still love it though, but it makes me a little self conscious to talk to people outside of a building in the daylight while wearing this. Beautiful inside tho!
I just bought this at Ulta and so excited to use it now. I have dry skin and I’m 37 so my skin has changed dramatically with age and after I had my daughter. Please let this work like you show and not set in my fine lines 😊
Hi sorry to bother you but I am 29 and have bad smile lines with make up. How do you wear it? Do you prime and/or moisturize first? Do you powder it at all (I'm so sorry for the 21 questions)
At least once a year qvc does a super size cc cream. This year they had the illuminating one 2.53 oz and a brow pencil, brush and tinted lip balm. I think it was $69.95. I bought one for my daughter & a kit for myself. We loved every item in the kit.
Loved your review! Thank you for giving us reviews on the other two creams as well, not just the original one! 😊 Edit: oh and I forgot to mention that you look a little like Shailene Woodley! Sooo pretty! I love her ❤️
love the It cosmetics matte CC cream it leaves my skin looking so freaking good. I would probably compare it to Joah natural finish foundation from the drugstore the closest.
You are lucky...the illumination looks like straight up glitter on my skin in natural light. I have dry skin and actually like the matte the best. I love the finish of the matte.
Sandi Colette does it look cakey on you? I normally use the illumination cc cream but am thinking about getting the matte. I have very dry skin though & am worried about cakiness
Great review, Lauren! I totally love the CC+ matte finish. I am oily in the T-zone only and this is the only foundation (in ANY brand) that keeps me from shining! It lasts all day into the evening as well. No more breakouts either! I use the IT brush though and not a sponge. The breakouts lessened at about the same time I quit using sponges. Coincidence? I don't know. Could be I'm nearing 50 as well (YIKES!). Your review reinforced that I've made the right choice. I really enjoyed the info you provided. This is my first review from you and I think you did an awesome job. I'm going to subscribe to see your future reviews. I was that impressed. Keep up the good work!
Okay so I was a little apprehensive about the 20 minute run time of this review, but I am pleasantly surprised at the quality. Definitely not a run-on review, babbling about nothing. Everything was informative, interesting and relevant.
Love the original and illumination cc and I mix them. Use the original one in the ce tee t zone and the illumination on the u zone. Will try the matt one, when I've got some money or it's on offer somewhere. Such a thorough review thank you. Happy thanksgiving to you and your family xoxo
I hate all foundations even though I need them.. they just all look cakey and most bb and cc creams don’t do much so I usually just use a good serum and moisturizer with spf and skip the whole face routine. For some reason I bought the illuminating cream a few years ago and actually loved everything about it except it was a little too glittery. I liked it enough to buy the original though and I literally will not wear anything else. It’s better coverage than a bb/cc cream and has a better texture/formula than any foundation! It’s like applying a perfect second skin that just sits perfectly on top without showing every single imperfection on your actual skin. That and the dewy, natural finish that’s almost like silicone, but in a good way? If that makes sense? It’s hard to believe how great this is until you try it so I totally understand why you love it so much! You described it perfectly. I still rarely want to wear anything on my skin but if I have to, it would be this, hands down! Topped off with a little setting spray and my skin actually looks hydrated and so pretty! Great review!
Such an informative video, I’m sure it will help so many people! I just placed an order for the illumination version but keep second guessing myself lol. My skin is in such a weird place right now due to chronic illness, it’s pretty dull-looking at the moment so I’m yearning for some radiance and glow to give my complexion new life but I also have an oily t-zone and have always gravitated towards matte formulas. Grrrr lol. May have to make room in my life for both the radiance and matte formulas, depending on the day.
Wow....what a great review. I have been wanting to try one of these foundations for the longest time. I'm going for the illuminating one. I think that one looked best on you. It literally gave your skin a healthy glow. And, I have dry skin so hopefully it will bring back a little life to my skin. What an awesome review! So helpful!
TY TY TY 🙌🏼 For reviewing this! I use the original formula on my lazy makeup day, and just want easy full coverage. But just discovered they offer two other forms! Very helpful review
I tried the illumination one and went to ulta the next day to switch it to the original.. it looked good but had just a hint of glitter that I personally couldn't handle. The original is my favorite!! my skin looks dewy just not sparkling.
Nice, in-depth review! I have super dry, mature skin and live in an extremely dry climate so NOTHING is ever too greasy for me. The original CC cream didn’t work for me because my closest shade left a gray cast. I have not tried the illumination or matte versions, but I have been pleased with the bronzer version of the CC cream and now the Bye Bye Foundation. It leaves a nice finish, has adequate wear time for my needs, and I got it after they expanded the shade range. I have thought of trying the original again in a different shade.
Thanks for this video. This is exactly what I was looking for! I have dry skin and I’m trying to decide which one I should buy. Also, thank you so much for including ingredients and being so thorough with your review. Very helpful.
Yes, which one did you go for? I still can’t decide after this and then reading the comments. Here in Aus it’s sooo expensive and there’s no returns or anything so I’m very weary...
I do not wear Foundation I just wear spackle champagne primer by Laura Geller then I put a bit of blusher and a bit of bronzer blue mascara primer by vital Ash has some lovely it's cosmetic makeup
Love that your an IT GIRL! I love both the original and illumination version. The original gives me a healthy glow. And the illumination makes me vibrant LOVE BOTH! Great review
I found you today bc of Kelly Gooch - love your content! I always get my original cc cream when the super size is in sale on QVC - crazy deal! I think they only do it 2x a year.
New viewer. I love the original IT cc cream. I wear it every day. I have used the illumination one before (i bought it by accident) love it also. I used to mix them... it was beautiful.
I just got this CC cream yesterday after getting a foundation match at my local ulta, I believe I have the original version(died at the price, but I think its worth it). I have dry/combination skin(forehead flakes like a desert, T zone is oily as hell, and my chin is slightly dry.) And yesterday when she did the match I found it provided more of a fuller coverage than the other foundation she tried, and didnt look cakey, though I have to admit it transfers easily(had a black shirt on and took it off and it kinda rubbed on my face and got a bit of foundation on it)
yea the original and the illumination seem to transfer the most. You might like the matte. Keep an eye out on QVC. They always have great It CC deals ;)
Unfortunately SPF in foundation is basically useless. The amount you would have to use to get the true protection factor is far beyond what any reasonable person would every apply.
Alaina Atk. True. But it’s still better than nothing! Especially because it’s such a high number SPF not 15 or 20 like I’ve seen some foundations have. One pump is not the best amount. Two or three pumps and you will be probably protected from the sun for at least two or three hours!
Hi. Thanks for the video, super informative! I have a couple of questions. What’s best to use a brush or sponge?? Also do you need to put a Translucent Loose Setting Powder after or it’s not necessary?? Thank you 😊
I got a sample from sephora. The original. I used a brush and it looked cakey on my cheeks. Maybe i used to much. Maybe my facial hair was the problem. Lol I dont have all that much. Just a little. I want to try the sponge can you recommend one? Thank you
Very nice video! All my life I went without wearing foundation except for a lil bit on my nose... then I started to watch QVC lol!!! I haven't tried the matte as I'm thrilled with the others. I think the Illumination one is lovely for winter months. Are you aware that they have a special one for dry skin? It's their Bye Bye foundation. It's almost exactly the same as the others but has even more moisturisation!
Hi Doll, Did you use a setting spray with the origianl and the illuminating to see if the wear time would extend? Thanks for a fantastic informative comparison for all of them💞
I have the original version now I think I need the matte version, looking at the ingredients yes I think I need it since my face is acne prone oily skin
I love love love the original version-it’s so moisturizing and actually really helped to control my acne a few years back. When I tried the illumination one, I felt that it was too shiny/metallic on my skin (dry but acne prone). However, I stopped using both due to the short wear time and the fact that every time I would wear it at work, I’d find little foundation fingerprints on my paperwork. 😬 I didn’t think I touched my face that much but apparently when I do it transfers easily! Still a wonderful foundation and I might pick one up and try mixing it with my born this way foundation. Thanks for the great review as always!
Yea I definitely wish the lasting power was better! Maybe give the matte one a try...I found it lasted a little longer. Ps-Born This Way is one of my favs too!
I have a sun spot exactly the same size and spot as you!! And nothing really covers it. I have dry/combo skin as well and didn't care for the Matte version, in fact I bought it from qvc when it first launched in May with the brush and returned it. I felt it was to heavy on my skin. I actually love and use the It cosmetics Celebration Powder Foundation and love it so much and I am 58! Great review!!
Thank you for sharing this Lauren:) IT cc original has been my holy grail for ages 😍 However- I’m heading off for a girls weekend and I’m taking Physicians Formula BB cream (black tube) Huge thank you and shout out to Lisa J for this awesome recommendation 👍💕 if you haven’t tried it just WOW! My skin is normal to dry and I’m 54 and this BB cream is AMAZING and lasts all day! I will be doing some shopping this weekend so might pick up one of these other IT cc creams Hope you have a beautiful Thanksgiving with your family 😘 Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
I’m happy to see such a positive review on the illumination formula. I just bought it from It website because they’re discontinuing their Confidence in a Compact which I’ve used since they aired it on QVC. Thanks for the reviews!
Ulta has a buy the cc cream or illuminated one and get the confidence in a cream for half off . I may do that to still get the moisturizer in my foundation! Thanks for the video!
I also had to go to a different color. Usually I always but med. Yet with it I have to get light. An add a bit. Until I ordered the light med. Thanks.❤️❤️❤️
Hello, would you recommend this IT Cosmetics CC Cream Illuminating as one of the best dewy foundations there are? I have heard about Nars Sheer Glow too. But because I have normal skin, which foundation would you recommend to have the dewiest, glowing finish. Thank you 🙏🏻
I love this CC cream! I’ve been using the original forever now but this video has me curious about the matte version. I’m combo/oily and I actually like the finish on the OG but I gotta try that matte now! Thanks!
Great review i also have all three and I love all three i agree with everything you said very accurate. My favorite foundation ever everything in one step so easy.
Thank you! I have dry skin as well so will get the illumination. I’ve been wanting to avoid it because I’m pretty sure they torture the snails (L’Oréal refused to answer when I asked about how they source the snail mucin), but no other foundation has matched my undertone as good as this.
i’m thnking of buying one of them because i heard really good opinions. espies that it’s now available in poland. the problem is everything is closed, so i will have to wait. but i also heard those shades are pretty dark. i will for sure take a sample where it all end. i wanted the illuminating one, but it’s pretty dark. my skin just rejects any matte foundations, so if not illuminating, the original. but i ordered a polish one for a 1/3 of the price. a new shade for fair people. i’m very curious, and i hope it will be good. because with the now second shade was too dark. way to dark. for a while, longer while i was using korean bb cream with spf and other stuff and it wasn’t bad. i’m wondering if this is similar to it cosmetics. i think i will go for a little investigation soon 😂😅 in those cc creams there are so many different silicones that no wonder it looks great. i don’t mind them, so i’m interested 😆 i’m also very suprised you recommended matte version for dry skin, but on the other hand i think it will last longer, and probably there is no need to powder it. on my face every foundation and other bb creams last all day, so i chose illuminating ones and powder a little bit to get rid of the sticky feeling and set. great video btw. especially for undecided people looking for opinions 😂
I wore the illuminating CC+ cream on the first day of school and a group of girls literally asked me what highlighter I was wearing, but I wasn't wearing any highlight😂
Just found your channel. This is a great in-depth review!! Thank you!! I've only tried the illumination one & I love it. I mix the well people bio tint in with it & I absolutely love the finish of the 2 together...
Thank you for posting. I have used the original It CC for almost a year. I would like to try the other formulas. Do you know if I can purchase travel sizes in the other formulas?
What would you say about the colour between regular and matte one ? Ive been using normal formula and want to try matte but I’m not too sure if colours matching . Thanks
I have been wanting to try this foundation and cannot decide which to buy. I have oily to combo skin. My T-zone gets pretty oily by the end of the day. Thoughts?
Just purchased this using curbside at Ulta and thought I was getting the original. Turns out I got illuminating. This is 2nd day wearing and yesterday I kept noticing wet looked like glitter on my hands. This CC cream definitely has some glitter. I wish I would have seen the matter version of this though. I think I’m going to get a bottle. I got light in the illuminating and it’s a little dark. Do you think that getting fair in matter and mixing would work well or not?
I think you'll really love the matte. It's not too flat-almost has a satin finish. And yes, I actually mix the matte and illuminating a lot. Hope that helps :)
This stuff is supposedly made to be good for people with Rosacea. So I bought it, destroyed my skin because it has citric acid or something really bad for rosacea. Also, clogs pores horribly. Glad it works for some people though.
They really need to rename these shades...you are NOT fair...I am 😕 This fair looks like tan on me.....I wish they would release more shades😓 an it cosmetics representative told me the spf limits the shade range but I dont really believe that and if it does take some spf out i can always use a separate spf 😝
Her final choice was illuminate version.
Longest lasting, best for pores and best coverage matte formula.
You're welcome
Not for my senior skin original cc cream best.
Thank you 😂
Hands down most informative video I have found on these products.
that means a lot Laura thank you!
Great video.
I've been using the CC original since it came out and it's a holy grail for me.
what I like to do is use it over my full face, and then use the illuminating in a shade darker with a sponge around the perimeter of my face and into the cheek for contour it adds the perfect amount of glow and bronze to the exterior face ❤️
DD Bella that’s actually a really good idea 😍
Great idea!
Nice! Thanks for sharing going to try this
Genious.

@@thehonestbeautyreview Can't wait illuminate on the way! Great review. 🥰🎆
I know this review is 2 years old but I think you have done the best review for the IT CC creams ! I think I need it 💕
I've been using the Original CC Cream foundation from IT Cosmetics for a number of years.
I have normal to dry skin. I have the three It foundation versions, but the illuminating version is my absolute favorite.
I mix the illumination into the original cc creme, looks very nice.
Thank you so much! I have the Original formula, along with the Illumination one. I MIX them! OMG! Try mixing them together, especially since your original is a bit too light. It’s just beautiful.
oooo great idea! thanks Karen!

@Sally Willow This is great to know, thanks Sally 😊😊😊. In the summer months I have felt that a little undereye powder might be a good idea. xx

LOL Soooo true! Perfectly put, Love it!
You are ABSOLUTELY right! I have a LOT of IT cosmetics products. Its my ONLY foundation. I just can't handle the glitter in the daylight.
I like it, but don’t use it as much because it has glitter and looks like I had just left a children birthday party
This video described EXACTLY what I was searching for. Thanks!
I just bought this at Ulta and so excited to use it now. I have dry skin and I’m 37 so my skin has changed dramatically with age and after I had my daughter. Please let this work like you show and not set in my fine lines 😊
Yes qvc still has the deal with free shipping. I am a loyal QVC customer and I love it.
The illumination formula!!! Yes!!! Underrated for sure!!! I receive compliments when I wear it!!
Great video! Clears up a lot of things for me because I was so confused with all the different types of CC creams
Your coloring. OMG! Your skin color, eye color, and hair color,...Sso unique.

Bunny Baby I did!! It’s really actually the same feeling formula as the illuminated. Not very drying, same consistency & coverage. I like it
I have combo skin with oily t-zone and the matte formula works best, even on the dry areas.

Try urban decay all nighter setting spray. That along with setting it with HD powder Makes it last all day
Andi Marie ooo good call! I need to break that out again
Hi.. can you recommend best primer for pores under the original it cc? Should I try one made by IT or another?
Hi Doll,
Did you use a setting spray with the origianl and the illuminating to see if the wear time would extend? Thanks for a fantastic informative comparison for all of them💞
Thank you so much! I've been wanting to try this foundation, but like you I have dry skin, so I wasn't sure which one to get. Happy Thanksgiving!
TheHonestBeautyReview I’m definitely gonna have to try the matte one!
My fav and yours so pretty !
I love the original, like the matte, haven't tried the luminous. Also love the bye bye foundation moisturizer.
Great video! Good job girl!!
Great review!!
thanks for the rec's! Yea I always end up using concealer
I will be doing some shopping this weekend so might pick up one of these other IT cc creams
Hope you have a beautiful Thanksgiving with your family 😘
Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
I'll have to try it! Thanks for the rec!
I’m happy to see such a positive review on the illumination formula. I just bought it from It website because they’re discontinuing their Confidence in a Compact which I’ve used since they aired it on QVC. Thanks for the reviews!
I think you’ll really like it! 💗
Oh no !! They just discontinued the bye bye pores primer too 😢
I love the confidence in a compact for winter months .
Thank you 🙏🏻
The illuminating is very dewy! It might be the most glowy foundations I've tried. It's awesome 👌🏻
TheHonestBeautyReview thank you so much for answering! Love ur vids and will look forward to more ❤️
I love this CC cream! I’ve been using the original forever now but this video has me curious about the matte version. I’m combo/oily and I actually like the finish on the OG but I gotta try that matte now! Thanks!
I have super dry skin and just ordered the Matte cc cream from Qvc - what an amazing deal! Can’t wait to try it!
What concealer did you wear under your eyes with this product?
i’m thnking of buying one of them because i heard really good opinions. espies that it’s now available in poland. the problem is everything is closed, so i will have to wait.
but i also heard those shades are pretty dark. i will for sure take a sample where it all end. i wanted the illuminating one, but it’s pretty dark. my skin just rejects any matte foundations, so if not illuminating, the original.
but i ordered a polish one for a 1/3 of the price. a new shade for fair people. i’m very curious, and i hope it will be good. because with the now second shade was too dark. way to dark.
for a while, longer while i was using korean bb cream with spf and other stuff and it wasn’t bad. i’m wondering if this is similar to it cosmetics. i think i will go for a little investigation soon 😂😅
in those cc creams there are so many different silicones that no wonder it looks great. i don’t mind them, so i’m interested 😆
i’m also very suprised you recommended matte version for dry skin, but on the other hand i think it will last longer, and probably there is no need to powder it. on my face every foundation and other bb creams last all day, so i chose illuminating ones and powder a little bit to get rid of the sticky feeling and set.
great video btw. especially for undecided people looking for opinions 😂
What a coincidence..I'm watching QVC right now all about the new matte one and this popped up in my recommended 🤷🏼♀️
I bought the illumination version. I should have gotten the regular
I use the original and illumination in diffferent colors to get a better match to my skin color. I think the combination looks beautiful together.
I wore the illuminating CC+ cream on the first day of school and a group of girls literally asked me what highlighter I was wearing, but I wasn't wearing any highlight😂
Haha! 🤣
Daisy Kay I’ve only seen the original in travel sizes. Hopefully soon! 🤞🏻
@@thehonestbeautyreview thank you so much! I enjoy your videos and love that you use cruelty free products
@@daisykay6584 I've seen the original in trial size at ulta. Not the others though and I don't know if they still have it.
@@chinita1pr thank you I have tried the original but would like to try the other versions without purchasing a full size.
Thoughts?
I’ve heard people with oily skin say the original slides around on them. Maybe try the matte version. It’s great! 🙌🏻
Is the It cc cream matte, pregnancy safe? I didn't see retinyl palmitate ingredient, can you advise?
For the oil control one, how will it work on dry sensitive skin?
TheHonestBeautyReview totally does! Thank you for responding!
I’m glad u reviewed these I’ve only tried the Matt version wondered which was the best as it’s not cheap x
This stuff is supposedly made to be good for people with Rosacea. So I bought it, destroyed my skin because it has citric acid or something really bad for rosacea. Also, clogs pores horribly. Glad it works for some people though.
Love the IT Your skin but better foundation! I feel like its tinted water on my face
what shade do you wear? ☺️
Which would you recommend for dry skin that gets oily and sweaty in humidity? I am having a hard time finding something that lasts
The matte version is great! It still leaves a little sheen and very hydrating for a “matte” foundation
@@thehonestbeautyreview Is it the longest lasting? What would you recommend from the drugstore for this issue?
Thank you for the awesome review! Subscribing for sure!
thanks pamela! xo
They really need to rename these shades...you are NOT fair...I am 😕 This fair looks like tan on me.....I wish they would release more shades😓 an it cosmetics representative told me the spf limits the shade range but I dont really believe that and if it does take some spf out i can always use a separate spf 😝
IT cosmetics cc original version HG magnificent.
Do they have any kind of fragrances?
