- This custom lifted 2018 Toyota 4Runner Off Road was a build we did for a local client. He wanted a SUV that was limitless for the pursuits he chases. The truck needed to work for taking surfing on the burly remote west coast, commute to work , go backcountry fishing and camping.
We used some of our partners including:
Peden 4wheel Drive, Green Lane Offroad, Icon Alloys, Frontrunner Outfitters, ToyTec and others.

Love the build it’s exactly what I would want
Toyota's are great vehicles. This was a really nice build. Kept it stock enough to look clean and classy, but did enough to it to give it a mean look as well. Almost everything done was utilitarian. Everything you need and nothing you don't! I love it! I'd love to get one some day and do this to it. You hit it out of the park on this one guys. If I can ask, what size tires did you use for this build?

I hear ya but i've seen it blacked out and it combines with the trim behind it and just looks like a black blob. Would be cool to match it to the grey of the Heritage front grille lettering somehow, and black out the side emblems

Sound sucked hard to figure oot what you are saying. Seems you either upgraded an SR5 or traded offroad pkg for your buddies parts plus a skid plate. Aboot sum it up?

Does this truck have KDSS? Any thoughts on KDSS with a lift?
3 inch is fine, anything much bigger is a no go with KDSS
@@steveo1240 1. BS on installing ARB lockers plural front back and air system for 1500 dollars.
2. BS on it leaning 5 inches
3. There are multiple ways to fix KDSS lean.
4. You can rip KDSS out and install a stock swaybar for little cash.

@@seanbakko1847 you can lift just fine with a 2-3 inch lift.
@@steveo1240 you can just install the stock swaybars using existing mounting points. The KDSS system installs to a normal frame sway bar, shock mounts, etc. Go to a junk yard find a 2010+ 4runner take off all the suspension components.
It can be done, and it should not cost you 8k... that is insane BS.
However glad you found a fix and everything is good for you.
I love my KDSS it gives me 2 -3 inches of extra travel and no rolling on curves.

Great Truck. What size are the tires 275 or 285? Did you have to do any body mods to fix tire rub?

Note for anyone buying after 04Nov2019. Greenlane doesn't drill the 3 critical holes to be compatible with the 4runners radiator guard. Pretty frustrating.

I’m gonna say $45k for the truck itself and another $5k for lift, wheels, tires. So probably over $50k easily.

Silver Arrow Cars Ltd. 1st mistake is u chose apple. Read the feedback from the community, would u want your family in that t4r @80mph when those spc's fail catastrophically? Total chaos/icon etcetera guy for uca's. U get what u pay for
