What was Goldilox like? To be there I mean. I love the way the audience sings it. Should have been a karaoke classic.

@ i think for the area it was the right move. There wasnt a ton of people there, yet most knew the lyrics and sang along. Solid moment.

@JustinPanariello Rex Brown said it makes him shed tears. Also Kings X played it at his wedding.

It's like we've come full circle with all the KX reactions leading you to check out a show. Much appreciation to you and your wife for the vlog! Small crowd for sure, but it would be a fun experience. Its all about the music for the band/fans.

Cool Vlog, thanks for sharing. You will be among those chanting "Jerry Jerry". 🙂

So cool you got to see them. Only thing that would have made it better: "Ladies and gentlemen, we'd like to bring out Suzanne Vega!"

I know you have discussed it but it always suck when they are not selling out large theaters. They are an incredible live act.

Still hoping you'll react to "We Were Born To Be Loved." But at least now I know you've heard it!

Any songs that caught your attention? How was the live sound for some to which you have reacted?

Obviously love that they did Summerland. I really liked that Ty riff I mentioned in another comment on here. I'll have to check out that song. I knew most of what they played actually. Only a handful I didn't know. Pillow was a throw back for me cause I'd only heard it once before and awhile ago. Plus he had the audience sing the chorus's. It took me a minute to figure out which song it was, though it sounded familiar.
As I said at the end of this video, the sound wasn't amazing. I'm not faulting them for that. Maybe it was more to do with the room, size of the room and how empty it was. We're talking 8-10% full. The building is 25,000 square feet warehouse style with 1800 person capacity. It was fine though. Dug... is 74. It's amazing the guy is up there doing it at the level he is period.

@@JustinPanariello Thanks for the comment and your thoughts on the concert. It did seem emptier than the videos I have seen from other shows and the sound on the recording was not the best. It is amazing that they are still playing and able to reproduce much of their sound from the early years. That is a cool riff of Ty from Vegetable on Manic Moonlight.
Enjoying you covering the band, even if you don't like some of the songs. It was great that you went to see them, so something is clearly interesting you. Great that you like Summerland, it is a great song. If you get a chance to react to a couple of songs off their Please Come Home Mr Bulbous album, it would be great, especially thinking of Julia and Marsh Mellow Field, although I am sure that you have other priorities. Also, interested on your thoughts of "All God's Children" that they played live at the show.
