I've had my 30 handpiece for 3 years and I have noticed that it no longer runs true. Is it possible to have the handpiece repaired? Or is it just more economical to purchase another 30 handpiece? I know it isn't a problem with the coil - it seems to be more an issue with the axis inside the handpiece or the positioning of the three claws. Any suggestions?
hello, how come there is no video available for your H.9D Handpiece, PowerGraver and the motor - hand-controlled and the foot-controlled units? I looked everywhere and cannot find any video, information regarding this tool and how it works, tutorials on how to cut channels, stone setting, bead work etc. It is making it hard for me to blindly purchase this tool that I don't know how it works when your competitors are constantly releasing videos. I contacted your company twice but haven't received any information on this tool. Can you help please? thank you
Do Foredom handpieces only fir Foredom flex shafts? I have, what can only be described as, a beginner look-a-like and I would really like to purchase a more comfortable handpiece and slowly add Foredom pieces until I can afford your system. I'm retired and on a fixed income so I can only spend small amounts at a time. My current handpiece looks exactly like yours with the three-jaw chuck.
I am Looking at the H.50C Hand-piece.... Every time I search this site for you segment I do not hear anything about it. Could you give a good opinion on this model? I would like to use it for Rock carving and wood carving... I am not sure the collet usability it has?

Just looked you up on Facebook. You can use any of those handpieces in the video on a TX - I could see your maintenance photos. You would need a H.30 to use the Angle Grinder. Hi I bought a foredom just lately and turn it on and the hand piece wouldn’t spin, after ringing the supplier I took the end piece near the motor and found the grub screw was tightened and the piece in between wasn’t connected to the motor. I can’t believe each piece is tested. As being new I was hesitant to pull it apart due being new and under warranty. I ended up doing it but it cost me 45 minutes of wasted time.

I found the motor, tubing,connector and several tools. So before i turn it on what should i do with it?i have just started soldering my jump rings and cleaning all my silver jewelry...now I will shut-up, and watch...any suggestions will be helpful...good day sir.
You are lucky to find one! Our UA-cam series on Foredom Basics is pretty old, but the instructions tell you all about maintenance. The motor might need cleaning. The shaft might need lubrication or replacement. Our website has lots of supplies even for older discontinued motors. We have live chat on our website www.foredom.net and our customer service team is helpful and knowledgeable. They are here M-F 8:30 - 5 pm. Customer service does not review all the youtube questions. They will have questions for you like: what model is it and so forth.
So i just purchased a kit foredom cost me 500$ plus, so today i was using a new burr, n did what i had to do, when i was done i try to change the bit n i couldn’t get it out, so bad the lil, key that goes in the hole of the handpiece bent now the lil key is stuck in the hole n the burr in it🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾soooo frustrated cause its soo expensive can you or someone help or have any tips “ how to fix it or what to do” 🙏🏾😓thank you!!!
Foredom Electric Co. thank you for your quick response, i put the burr or tip in the hand piece n used it for about a min. N then i stop to change the burr, n from there on i just couldnt “unscrewed “ it with the key that comes with it, very strange, cause i used the handpiece before n all was fine....another thing I noticed is that the hand piece gets really warm almost hot after using it for about 5 mins. I saw the tip of the shaft has extra grease.,..... it is very frustrating cause this set wasnot cheap at all., so i didn’t expect this problems so soon on a band new equipment!? Anyways thank you i really hope you guys can help me!!!!!! 🙏🏾 thank you again!!!!!
Slimmer hand piece better for me having a small hand and for finer setting work. Why so many hand pieces especially the chunky ones. Need to try before you buy. What time you save in the quick release you could lose finding the right hand piece unless you just have a couple.
