You might not like her but just look up Lady Gaga’s live performances for an excellent example of this. She has backing track as well as backup singers and always changes how things are sung when it’s live. You can even look up another live performance of this song that they DID sing live. This dance really isn’t hard - but I’m not sure why they chose to synchronize this time instead of sing because as I said, they’ve done it before! Absolutely no hate to them because I love Perfume so much, but it’s lazy and irresponsible to staunchly defend someone just because you like them. Everyone and everything can improve and be criticized.
Hi! I know I'm late here but actually they are not being lazy. It's very difficult to mimic a heavily autotuned voice, which is the reason they don't sing songs like these live. They aren't supposed to sound human, their aesthetic is supposed to be futuristic/robots.

I love these types of performances that focus more on Perfume than visuals. A simple geometric background, lights, and Perfume. Nothing else.
