Hey lovely! ✨Love and appreciate your videos. They have definitely kept me motivated while completing my prereqs for the rad tech program at my college! Hope you have an amazing weekend!! Also, do you mind sharing the link for your car seat covers and the hammock you have in the back seat for Brodie! I could really use one for my doggie - he sheds so much! Thank you 😊

I was excited to see another vlog these are my fav!! 🥰 I would love to see a boyfriend tag and I'm just excited to see you guys place and those vids when the time comes. I love decorating too Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Home Goods. Target, Walmart, etc. They all get me in trouble 😳 my bf doesn't even like to let me go by myself anymore lol 💛
Awe thank you so much that means the world to me that you love them! Thanks for always commenting and liking my videos you’re the best, very much appreciated! I definitely have more vlogs coming your way! That’s also a great idea I’ll try to get him into a video ❤️ I love decorating too it’s hard not to go overboard 😬 lol
In my 2nd month of school and i’m so excited! I worry about not being able to make connections with my classmate because of me being 18 and every one else is up in their years. I also get a little intimidated because everyone else has experience and i’m free bawling 😭😭🤣
First off congratulations for being in your 2nd month I’m so proud of you! And I promise you will have no problem connecting with people I was 19 when I started my X-ray program and was great friends with a 29 year old and many others. Youd be surprised how much you have in common with people having the same goal of graduating really Brings you together. Not having a background in health care is completely okay because we all have to start somewhere so hopefully the people around you understand that and can help give you advice along the way! ❤️ I hope this helps some!
Hi Brooke! Great video! Just beginning to binge watch your vlogs! I am a pre-sonography student- only one more class to take-A &P! Did you mention that you are still working as a radtech? If so, how many hours do you get to work at the hospital while a student?
Thanks for watching I greatly appreciate it! Congratulations on having only one more prerequisite that’s amazing! I work 16-20 hours a week. I am a prn rad tech so I get to make my own schedule so I typically work weekends and sometimes a evening shift through the week. Great question, thanks for asking! ☺️
@@brooke_pedssono AWESOME! Thanks! That gives me hope that I may be able to do the same. My school of choice doesn't take loans so I have to save & fund it and apply for scholarships. I may just take a year to work & save, then apply. It's a great amount of planning that goes into swiching a career to healthcare!
@@Villagenanny absolutely it does! I think you’ll be able to work just definitely take it slow in the beginning because school work at the start is very overwhelming but after that you get into a routine and know you can find time to work 😊
Great question thank you for asking! I always knew ultrasound is where I wanted to end up but I had to go through radiology first to be accepted into the program. It’s a wonderful career that allows you to really investigate for patients what’s bothering them and find their pathology’s or not. It is a lot more in depth then radiology where you send a picture to the doctor and move on. In ultrasound it’s a lot more independent on the ultrasound tech and I really love having that ability. I feel very helpful in my patients process of getting better.
Hey I have a question about sonography. What’s the difference between a certificate and an associates degree in sonography? I’m just taking prerequisites for now.
No difference in pay or anything else actually.😊 Just have to make sure you can sit for your registry boards. You can find out at ARDMS.org Hope this helps!
Absolutely! Where I live we are seeing a very very high demand for Sonographers! Every clinical site i have been too has multiple positions open so it’s easy to work at one of your clinical sites. It really depends on your area 😊 Hope this helps!
Love theses videos I wanted to be lpn so bad but I found out I actually like radiology, I was interested in ultrasound as well. Keep making these videos !♥️
That’s awesome to hear you like radiology! It has so many different opportunities! Also Thank you so much for your comment! I will definitely continue to make these kinds of videos as I see how many people benefit from them☺️

What made you want to switch to ultrasound from radiology?
