Another top notch episode mate. You're a real ambassador for how people should conduct themselves in the VHC - respectful, sensible, and safe. Really enjoying seeing your filming and editing improving in leaps and bounds too. Those cinematic drone shots are unreal. Love the outtakes too - a reminder that we're all just people and not to take yourself too seriously :-)
Out wheeling with the family in a beautiful spot, really does life get better. Enter Mr Kai Thompson, bud you make me laugh 😂 a chip off the old block. Keep up the good work young man👍. Another quality Thompson’s production 😁
If anyones interested, look up dogs grave on google. It’s a good story dating back to the 1800’s about our drovers and pioneers in that area and why that monument was placed. 👍🇦🇺
Love high country camping. So peaceful and endless amounts of dry wood to burn. If you like good views try also the east side from Mansfield to Lake William Hovel past Dandongadale falls to Mt Buffalo.
HI Tyler, great vid yet again, love the drone shots and with the music, just shows how dramatic and large of an area the High Country is . FYI UHF is max 5 watt, even your in car units are 5 watt, the limitation is the hills (line of sight) and the aerial dB
At 21:00 your campsite is one I often stay at on the Humffray River. In dry times this river often carries more water than the Wonnangatta River. There are many good camping spots along this section of the Humffray River. Not far from Wonnangatta Station and better camping IMO.
Awesome video mate, the high country is so good and it has it all. I’m going to say it , its better than a trip up north i reckon. For us less travel and plenty of camping options like you said. Thanks for sharing mate . Cheers shad 🤠👌
Great video mate. This series is great - it’s good to see you with the family. As always, the high def filming is really nice and those drone shots are unreal. Good choice of music.
Great vid Ty. It was your High Country series in 2018(?) that got me inspired to do my first trip to the VHC. In fact I pretty much followed your route most of the way back then lol. Thanks mate - your vids have great content and are always informative. Hope to cross paths with you one day!👍
Another great video of your trip... Such awesome views of the mountains from the drone footage. Got to be one of if not the best place for camping along them river's
The nav sounds happy whistling away to it's self. Congratulations on adding to the family. My daughter was born 2 days after a 4 wheel driving trip( was it related?). Kai we all care about you mate.
As yr previous fan said you conduct yr self as it should be on this forum. Congrats on yr new addition to yr family all the best, to you both.. Vid was outstanding... Great work..... 😀
Love that you just sent the GU to the VHC with no spare tyres haha. Im pretty sure the navara has an odd ball PCD and wont fit the patrol, the MUX wont fit over the lock hubs of the patrol ahha.
Another great video mate. Just like your Cape York series, the intro is top quality 👌, appreciate the time and effort you put into them. Keep up the great work 👍 Congratulations on the arrival of the little fella.
Really liked this video mate. Nice people exploring a nice part of the world. Would you know of any routes I could take a stock 4x4 from Mansfield to Omeo in the dry? I have a compressor, recovery points and some recovery gear, no snorkel. The Newtracs app seems to show a few good options, just thought you may have some good tips. Cheers.
Good driver in that GU, all no fuss just getting it done. Watch out Tyler, you might be out of a job..... :-) Awesome you guys having 3 vehicles along now though!!!
Another great Vlog. Your production skills are A1. Thanks for naming the tracks as you go - great for following on a map. ps based on the timing, your new bub as arrived by now? If so congrats. Trust mum and bub are doing well Cheers
Na probably not, too many people get upset with me for spoon feeding everyone information and giving away spots and I can see their point. Plus if you have a map out when watching these videos I give enough info you can follow along anyways
i like the family thing you've got going on there mate - one question though - for your dad, how does he roll with the dinner menu or does he burn a steak off camera?
Done the high country 5 times now and can't get enough of this place. Been convinced to do the cape this year as some mates think it's the best off reading in Oz. Will see but watching your vids I think I'm gunna have to do both this year. Which do you thinks better?

Thanks for that mate!
Well said Matt! I feel the same. Keep it up Tyler. Had my 1st VHC trip last week and I'm still in awe. You encapsulate what it's about.
Yeah well said mate
Yep! Another great one. I really liked the fade out cars disappearing on the river crossings.
cheers mate!
That little montage/ fade @18:02 was nice - thanks for another upload matey
Man the out takes make me crease up and make me feel much better about my own insecurities about being on camera! Good work Tyler as always!
Ive Camped at that exact spot on the Wonnangatta river its such a nice place
Out wheeling with the family in a beautiful spot, really does life get better. Enter Mr Kai Thompson, bud you make me laugh 😂 a chip off the old block. Keep up the good work young man👍. Another quality Thompson’s production 😁

Nice. Love how the editing is coming along. Giving me a lot of ideas.
Awesome, thank you!
Love high country camping. So peaceful and endless amounts of dry wood to burn. If you like good views try also the east side from Mansfield to Lake William Hovel past Dandongadale falls to Mt Buffalo.
Great trip you've done there so much to see. What an experience for the young fella
Great watch, love the simple family style humour along with the great scenery, thanks for sharing👍
I used to ride all those tracks/river crossings, memories! Truly is the best. 🍻

Best place to explore,if it wasn't for the cold l would be road tripping there rather than up North.

Awesome ep mate!! 🙌
Be grateful it was spices that spilt… Last time it happened to us it was soy sauce 😥
Oh no!
Loving it.
When you picked the soundtrack for this trip did you search "extra dramatic"? You've really kicked it up a notch.
Yep 😂😁
That was cool thanks👍✌
Glad you enjoyed it
Just discovered your account mate, love your style! Subscribed 🍻
Thank you!
Are you gonna do a full drawn out itinerary o a map so we can see all the tracks and camps you took.
Na probably not, too many people get upset with me for spoon feeding everyone information and giving away spots and I can see their point. Plus if you have a map out when watching these videos I give enough info you can follow along anyways
Where did you get you’re draw with the slide out table looks awesome
G-works made it mate
Cool trip 👍🏽🤙🏽
Thanks 👍
i like the family thing you've got going on there mate - one question though - for your dad, how does he roll with the dinner menu or does he burn a steak off camera?
Cheers mate, yeah he normally has his own thing, often just cooks veggies too
unreal!
The fake discount code koala fur/blood 🤣 legend.🤙🤙🤙
Sweet footage Tyler, are you running an after market exhaust on the Nav? And if so is it worthwhile. Cheers Brett, NZ
no I'm not mate
Dude. High country, not higher country haha. Great video as usual mate. Cheers
Where is your draw from (the one the spices spilt in)?
Gworks mate!
"but no one cares about me..." lol he's growing up quickly
Done the high country 5 times now and can't get enough of this place. Been convinced to do the cape this year as some mates think it's the best off reading in Oz. Will see but watching your vids I think I'm gunna have to do both this year. Which do you thinks better?
Would depend on the time of year because most of the high country tracks are closed during winter and that's when the telegraph track is drivable.
they're both really good but probably the high country
Yep gunna do both.
Hmmmm. Need to start a new channel.
Malaki's Camping Equipment Review
