God bless Wolfgang Buchner for teaching me how to drill in Liberia kind courtesy of Welthungerhilfe. Today I am an entrepreneur with others employed and earning a livelihood through EMAS manual drilling.
This is a gigantic project done by a single man in Bolivia ...........Very advanced manual tools made by himself, It was done thinking about people who need water in many places. I would say " The man who drilled most Water wells in hole planet Earth". He is from Germany.... I admired his highest creativity skills. He is one of the greatest man in this world.
How much a single person can do for so many!!! That man must have not only lots of feelings but lots to offer to others that have little to give, but lots of feeling also!
Wow,that sock is a great idea to keep the sediments out.I could use it here.We are always getting little rocks and stuff through our pipes out of our well.
Impressive. I wonder how many people could be have access to clean water with just this 100 meter well? The tools required are very minimal. Well water is typically free of pathogens like e coli. Good show!
That is bloody amazing! Such simplicity and innovation used to provide something so valuable to these people. It looks hard work drilling it but i guess it shows you how weak westerners are compared with other people whom don't have the benifit of all our labour saving machinery.
muy bueno el trabajo. Me encantaria tener mi propio campo y buscar mi propia agua como lo hicieron ahi, lastima que uruguay ya no tiene esas regiones libres de contaminacion y el agua subterranea debe ser analizada antes de consumir.
@88arau Depends on the soil type: it will only work in sandy / clay soil, at most with small stones. In the US it is probably easier to get a commercial company to drill a well, though.
@markdangerman the idea is to have it self-explanatory, so you don't have introduce any language problems. The way the video is now, you can show it people speaking any language, and they will still stand a good chance of understandig it.
This shows the world how people who have very little shines when it comes to inovation and total teamwork. Thank You and Blessings Phil

Outstanding !!! Its nice to see good hard working people coming together and bring a way to get water without a BIG PRICE. God Bless You
Awesome, this is what makes peoples lives worthwhile. The effort put into giving water to them is the work we all need to do each day.

I think these wells are drilled in one or two days, depending on depth.

how lond did it take you to dig that well?
@88arau Ah :-) Than you might need to drill rather deep. Although, with this technology, holes up to 100 m have been drilled.
Fantastic!
