This is great information. It will also be very nice if you can interview Dr Tegbar or someone from EMA and ask if EMA have started any process to push the government to start registering HERQA or MoE to the World federation of medical schools.
Unless we push the gov't, no one cares to start the process

Thank you for the suggestion . i have informaly asked peoples from EMA they are pushing but no one seems to care. They even gave them the blueprint documents from the sudan's medical authorities (they are the only accredited agency from africa). Thanks again . what about passport, if i dont have it currently but i registered online for passport is there any option that i can fill this form.... because u know currently ethiopia delay to give passport up to 6months of registration so if there is any option pls i want to know?

you will have to call them as you are making the payment, they will hopefully tell you the card number and confirm the payment when they receive a text.

Hello. Yeah the passport is necessary to finish the second part of getting the ECFMG ID but, highly recommend finishing the first part (the one that does not require your passport ) before 2024 because they are suggesting that finishing with the notary can be possible even after 2024 if you start the process now.

I think you have to be atleast 3rd year to take step one but i dont know if the same is true to start the registration.

Hi 🙋🏽♂ i just found out that you apparently need the transcript when you want to actually book the exam , to finish the noterization you dont need that.

Hello Betelhem, Technically you should be able to start the process. I suggest you start the process following the same steps mentioned in the video , their is a part which asks you if you are a medical student or graduate from that onwards it is just following the steps. I suggest you See other videos as well.

Thank you for the informative video. I had one question, for the registration process do they need to confirm with the medical school directly or just you putting in your medical school information enough as long as it's in the directory?
They say they confirm your Graduate/student status just by calling the school. They have all the contacts needed . you don't have to do anything. Just waiting. After a week or two at max they will communicate you. If they don't write you after two week you can email them.

Thanks for your update but can we register for those schools who do not have sponsor note. Other thing to register the degree must be original or temporary. we need ur response urgently please
you do not need the original degree to register but you will need it when you want to book the exam. Your school have to have the sponsor note. it is a very simple process. if you know the registrar or the head of the school they can communicate and finish it in a matter of weeks.

I do not think you would need the grade 12 Transcript or Entrance exam result in the USMLE path. although getting it corrected would not hurt as it only takes a week to do so.
