Amber this is so cool. I love how you do the puddle pour and tilt. It really gives it a unique design. I can’t wait to take your class and learn this dotting technique. ❤❤❤
Whoa that’s crazy the dot needs to dry for 3-4 weeks before adding another layer. I would have never thought that long so I’m glad you said that. The final result is so awesome!! I think I like the horizontal orientation the best.
Thank you August!!! 💕💕 Yes these take time especially if you want to do several layers… Mike Hammer who created the blob technique told me that he waits at least 6 weeks before he blobs a second layer and so on… He has some crazy cool pieces!
So awesome Amber!! I absolutely love your dot paintings. The colors are beautiful together. My favorite is horizontal!! Thanks for sharing & have a wonderful evening. 😊💖
Absolutely amazing dot painting outcome👍🏻⭐️🤣 In my early days of abstract acrylic painting I have been doing several dot paintings using Liquitex heavy body acrylics Amber. You mentioned that the drying time of fresh applied dots is almost 2 to 3 weeks. Have you used a pm to mix up the dot paints. If yes may I ask you which recipe have you using Amber?🤔
Thank you so much!!!🙏❤️ I use any acrylic paint that is low viscosity… The Liquitex heavy body is too expensive for the dots so I prefer the Liquitex basics. I am still experimenting with the recipes since I want a fool proof one to teach at Fluid Art Experience…
Thank you! 🙏🥰💕 Yes I mix all my paints and will be teaching how to mix the paints at my class in person at Fluid Art Experience this September in dallas…
I love this so much! You are gifted, my sister ❤ Stunning piece 😍
Thank you sis so much!! 🙏❤️🥰😍
