Hey, this a great video. I'm a 12th grade student and i'd would love to go to manipal next year. i wanted to understand what prerequisites i'd have to master? information about the MU--OET, records they see, any help would be appreciated.
I took computer science in sjb Institute of technology in bangalore.
My manipal ranking was not good enough. I had not studied at that level. You have to prepare for iit then you'll be able to get the main branches in manipal. Which branch do you want though?
The exam is not easy, but a little easier compared to jee I guess. No they don't see 12th board exam results unless you have equal marks in all subjects with another candidate in order to give you your ranking. You need to get around 130-140 questions right to get eee I guess. But 125+ for sure.
Manipal infrastructure is top notch. That is why they charge so much. The campus is beautiful and there are beaches nearby. They have everything. I haven't been to NITs but I'm sure they are about the same but manipal is a little better in terms of hostels and other facilities because I've seen the pictures and I know NIT graduates.

Hi Jagan, I'm studying MBBS in Melaka Manipal Medical College, its a 2.5 years twinning programme with Malaysia.
As for KMC, i think its a 5 year course + 1 year of internship if im not mistaken :)

I don't understand the last two points! Do they serve KFC at the hostels? If not, then why's the girl so upset about having to eat 'puri again'? If she doesn't like the dorm food, she can simply go out & eat at KFC! What does the KMC has to do with this?
Secondly, travelling by a car instead of having to take the autorickshaw doesn't, I think, reflect the facilities provided by the university. The only thing that can be gleaned from the last point is "If you're not rich, Manipal's not for you!" I earnestly hope that this isn't true.

Yeah even i have to take a loan to go there 25 lacs for mbbs is too expensive, but i guess it is worth for the facilities
