SIR WILLIAM WALTON'S stirring SPITFIRE PRELUDE & FUGUE (arr. Elgar Howarth) from the film THE FIRST OF THE FEW (1940) based on the life of R.J. Mitchell, inventor of the Spitfire, who died in 1937 from cancer.
