  • SIR WILLIAM WALTON'S stirring SPITFIRE PRELUDE & FUGUE (arr. Elgar Howarth) from the film THE FIRST OF THE FEW (1940) based on the life of R.J. Mitchell, inventor of the Spitfire, who died in 1937 from cancer.
    It is performed, Walton All, by THE PRINCETON BRASS BAND under Music Director Prof. STEPHEN ARTHUR ALLEN in the Richardson Auditorium of Princeton University on Sunday December 15th 2019 as part of their annual HOLIDAY CONCERT. The Princeton Brass Band were:
