I heard this song live a few years back, and ended up crying when I heard it. Then I found this video ... and it made me cry again! Such a beautiful song, makes me think of my dad.
Came across this song last Friday. Don't know how I haven't heard it before! This sounds like something that we would all have known growing up. Played it on a loop for six hours solid and still wasn't tired of it! The lyrics are written in such a way that they have a melody all of their own. The great attraction is the raw emotion in the lyrics, laying bare your soul for others to see and understand. This song must mean a lot to you and it has a place in my heart as well.
