I recently built this Malibu kit, and enjoyed it. For those who don't like curb-sides, it includes a radiator support (though not the radiator) and firewall. Just source a motor, a radiator and a battery, you can upgrade it.
When I was a kid some time between 1974 & 77 my mom had 64 Chevelle faded light blue, it was all most the same shade of blue to your build, thanks for sharing and bringing back some good memories
Nice looking car, as always! Great color combo and clean assembly. “But he used three different brands of paint”. Ha Ha, proved them wrong again. Thanks, Louie!
Thank you!! Paint products are a trick bag. You really have to learn how to handle them and know what works with what. And don’t get in a hurry. It looks like I went and painted over the primer right away but there is at least a day between the two. I do appreciate your support!! Happy Modeling
I really like the option of doing a build my way. I would like to see be basic cars , in line six , small v8 and 4 door cars. My Dad had some great 4 door cars and tribute builds are wonderful. Just sayin the hobby market is changing .... thanks to all , Dennis
Great build, Thank You for sharing. I really enjoy your building techniques. Who makes that orange paint that you used. Very nice coverage. Hope you have a great weekend. Take care !
Like the choice of color and these wheels look quite nice as well.

Your '64 Malibu is looking real, real nice!
Thank you!! 😊
Sweet build Louie! I agree the model is nicer than the original. Nice color combo all around with that white interior, very classy!
Very nicely done Louie!
I like that blue, i used it on a rebuild of a 69 Cougar recently. Great looking build.
As usual a good representation of times from long ago. My favorite color of this year was the metallic maroon. ❤
