A lot of anime (especially long-running series like Dragon Ball) have a tendency to grind every major plot point into your skull repeatedly. I think it mostly chalks up to the target audience for most of it being teenagers, and some of it just comes from the sheer volume of anime that's produced.
Even though I love the show and Chariot (though she's not my favourite), watching you rag on them is so hilarious! Though I do hope making the "In A Minute"s for LWA isn't too much of a chore.
Pretty sure they use Yggdrasil so much because A) The religiion/mythology it's from is not still practiced so less chance of people throwing hissy fits about its representation (despite them already using the Kabbalah as you pointed out) and B) it sounds super foreign transcribed to japanese (Igudorashiru) and western words are the bomb diggity over there.
"less chance of people throwing hissy fits about its representation" That's only a selling point if you're so comically hypersensitive that someone not approving of how you portrayed their religion actually bothers you.
Exactly. It'd be fascinating for someone to produce a property that explores the backgrounds of religions in a way that isn't: • Veiled recruitment propaganda • "And that's why religion is s***" (Granted most nowadays are there for the purpose of getting away with XYZ) • Trying to Sell You Something® Getting funding or publishing a property like that from scratch, in the tiptoe on eggshells vs yell invectives and slurs from the rooftops (no middleground), mindset of the current societal climate, would be astounding. Also the idea of being tracked down and brutalised by "zealots," (Religious, political or fanatic oh my!) becoming less hyperbolic is probably a deterrant.
I fucking love waffles, and 10 more would be great! Wait a minute these waffles have been covered in shit syrup. Who could’ve done this?! Waffling-sama you wouldn’t have had anything to do with this, would you?
I was soo disappointed with this series. I kept watching till the end hoping that my patience would be rewarded and SOMETHING would happen, but alas, I wasted a good chunk of my summer. At least Sucy was lovely.
There are....a lot less comments all of a sudden. There were at least 2 or three more pointing out how it'd be nice if she would watch a show she likes & there was a small chain of replies I was part of but when I clicked the notification to bring it up, all of the critical comments are gone??? Is this normal for her videos? Or was a fan salty about minor criticism to the point where they flagged our comments erroneously? Cause there's only 1 still up & I know there were more, along with a bunch of replies to the remaining comment. But seriously, Lilly, if you're bored & angry at these shows you're watching for In A Minute, watch one or two shows you like. Someone in the now-vanished thread mentioned "Wander of Yonder" which I've heard great things about. Or if you wanted an anime why not the more recent "Cells at Work" it's fun as an edu-tainment show and a psuedo action anime. And the Platelets are the cutest little things I've seen since Ms. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.
Lily filters her comments. If the replies were saying literally the same thing you did she probably filtered them because there's no reason to leave 12 million comments that all say the same thing.
But there's still barely 40 comments on the video? Three or four people agreeing that yeah, maybe she should watch something she likes would be a nice change of pace doesn't really seem like "12 million people" repeating themselves ad nauseam I think there were ~60 when I initially made my comments, so that *might* have been ~20 comments pertaining to it? At the absolute and most unreasonable maximum, but even then I only saw maybe 3 threads about it before comments started disappearing. Besides, lot of the remaining comments are just generic praise of her work while disliking the episode itself. If she filters repetitous comments, why not filter out the pure, non-critical praise if it's just a bunch of people repeating themselves? None of us were even complaining that she hates the show, just that it's getting a bit stale. And if these videos had more comments it wouldn't have even been that noticeable outside of the threads that popped up in my notifications, which I took screenshots of, and they would've been buried under the up-voted comments anyways. So it's not so much "filtering" as it was refusing any potential criticism even on something very minor.
Sucy: the one character who both doesn't have cheesy writing and also didn't appear in this episode.
“My moneys on bitter ex” OMFG YOUR NOT WRONG 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Probably because Yggdrasil is the easiest thing to use without coming up with a new idea, being the World Tree or something to that effect.
On the other hand, think of the amazing legs we'll have from all the jogging in place we are doing!

1:36 just the way Croix was looking at Akko makes me feel uncomfortable

If i may ask what made you dissapointed ?
2:27 ...magic flying roombas...
I'm going to take a good guess and say the face Akka made in the Outro is the same you were making in the entire episode.

Is this a Black Clover but even worst?
wait is it me or is that background music at 2:24 a blatant ripoff of Humming the Bassline from JSRF
Yeah this show is boring, I stopped watching after the beginning of the second episode smh
Well it's not for everyone i guess but only for 2 episodes ? That's kinda weird, 2 episodes it's not enough for me to judge a show but you do you
