The spacer is critical to proper installation of the cranks as it prevents the over tightening of the crank arms which prevents putting side load onto the BB bearings which aren’t designed to bear any side load. Without the spacer, you risk ruining your bearings and your crank arms will always be coming loose. Nice bike though.
no offense it looks like a FIT frame with a ATF Decal on it i even ordered the Decals and i have plenty of those FIT frames laying around i put the Decals on it totally looks exactly like the bike in your video
Definitely use the spacer, that’s how it’s designed.

I have the same frame and fork. I had to trim the steer tube so it looked and fit better with the headset.
My holy diver is the same way spinning cranks.. im running fit indents with an s&m 22mm bottom bracket.

The spacer prevents lateral play which will cause quicker wear and less durability and degraded performance.
