She would sometimes do her own stunts on The Big Valley. With that said, the costumers needed to be selective when choosing her costumes. Color and fabric matters; but so does the style of the outfit itself. Joan needed a shorter dress. This dress was too long for her. She needed a TRUE flapper style dress; but where the skirt landed above the knee.
I remember one episode where Krystal and Alexis were at the same salon/spa ,they were seperated by these partitions ,Krystal over heard Alexis gossiping to the attendant about Blake as the attendant was finishing up Alexis's makeup-hair ,she was about done with her when a infuriated Krystal took the bowl of mud from her attendant and casually walks over to Alexis's side and says , "so you like to sling mud eh, Alexis" as she takes a handful of the mud and throws it right in her face ,LMAO !!
The funniest part about that bit was the scene where Krystle walked in the salon drop dead gorgeous. I was like...and what else are they going to do to her? Could have at least come in there with no makeup or her hair in a bun or something. LOL!

Dynasty made their cat fights as epic and drama filled as the show itself. So fun because you can see the stunt doubles when they fight-but highly entertaining
