I hope all American high schools don't have so many overweight students. Is this the result of indulging in children's "high self esteem", "I'm OK you're OK", participation trophies, etc... morbid obesity and adolescence diabetes? When I went to high school, you could count the number of overweight students on your two hands. (And, yes, we had more than 10 students.) I guess on their graduation day, along with their diploma, they are also given coupons for Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers. (No wonder high school career counselors always push for college and not the military. Most of these students couldn't pass the physical.) But, it was a nice performance. (Good thing it was done in the cafeteria and not on stage. The stage floor could've collapsed.)
