- This video is a compilation of some of my better railfanning catches in North Alabama and the surrounding areas from February to June of 2024. In this video, you will see heritage units from both Norfolk Southern and CSX, a BNSF Warbonnet leader on NS 284, plenty of foreign power including an NS 363 with an NS AC44C6M, BNSF H1 Dash 9, UP C44AC still wearing Southern Pacific paint, BNSF Warbonnet, and BNSF GEVO, and much more.
Enjoy the video!!!

Thanks for all the hard work. Really enjoyed the videos.
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Good catches too. A warbonnet followed by an old UP ac44, 90s moment, alot of good power and good speeds
Oh yeah. I nicknamed that 363 the lashup of the year for a reason. A lot of good stuff ran through this area in the first half of the year.
Great video and nice catches man! I really enjoyed the shot of the NS auto rack coming off the bridge and some of that power you get is insane. Really enjoyed those KCS wide cab geeps, great stuff!
Thank you! There were a lot of good trains in the first half of 2024.
Excellent video
Thanks!
Good work! Especially enjoyed seeing the Illinois Terminal unit getting to lead that stack train. Every time I'd catch a CSX or NS heritage unit around Bham it was either trailing, DPU, or stopped altogether.
Yeah it makes a difference when they lead. Thanks for watching!
Good vidéo 😊
Thank you!
Nice video. I need me a day in north AL, can't believe I haven't really been up there
Thanks! Give me a shout if you want to get some trains up in this area. I'd be happy to show you around.
Great trains, any nathan horn is great except k5hl
A K5HL has a time and a place. I'm more of a Leslie person tbh. Thanks for watching.
@SlaterDozierRailroadMedia how about the Prime920-its my favorite 🙂
@@danielneeley5480 I approve.
TMI but nice
I usually try to include a lot of info in my long format videos since that's what I put the most effort into. But I'm glad you enjoyed it either way. Thanks for watching.
