Still remember watching this race on video player in 1986 in Haapai as it was the first time we see the Fautasi race but we called it Siu’a’alo! For there,my love for these race has never stopped.Fascinating,the size of the boat and rhythm of the Rower!!! Since our Tongan boats aren’t racing,I barrack for that boat with the female captain! She looks like a Samoan female warriors of the past!!! Alofa atu to this legend of a competition
