Ohh no, now every Controller player is going to think every MnK player can aim like this. I will say this as an MnK player, yes the ceiling is higher on MnK but the floor on Controller is higher. I cant tell how many gun fights ive seen my team win on SnD just by left stick aiming.
yea aim assist is wild in this game. Like its not unfair, but its definitely a much stronger assist than in any of the last few cods...

Mnk wins at longer ranges
Controller gets easier tracking
Mnk wins close ranges if they can abuse cameras and the fact controllers can’t 180 as fast
At the top levels of any game with aim assist players can compete with either it’s j about personal preference or consistency

Seeing how much work MnK players have to put against aim assist is nuts. Casually I actually connected my PS5 controller to my PC for MW2. The Aim Assist is disgusting at close range, but the moment I found out smokes work against players with aim assist, it helped a lot.

A top PC player will still wipe the floor with controller players - M&K is just a superior toolset for FPS games. The complaint is that aim assist has become so strong that even bad controller players can get some kills off on better players with aim assist doing the majority of work for them. It raises the skill floor so people don't feel as bad for being bad at the game. I remember watching videos back in the day from controller players like Scump and they genuinely impressed me because you could tell he was a beast at the game. His positioning and centering were so good even for a controller player. You can literally see aim assist doing everything for these newer players. No one is saying good controller players can't exist, but pretending that aim assist isn't carrying crappy players would be a lie. Even as a PC player, I would get shit on as a kid from the better PC players but that's what helped me get better and better. If you suck at the game, you need to work to get better - not have the devs give you more handicaps.
Exactly. People never take enough time to ask themselves this simple question:"Would I be able to beat Usain Bolt in a 100 metres sprint without any aid?" Obviously no. They keep comparing "PrO MnK PlAyErS" with average pad players, that alone should mean a lot. You don't compare a pro in something with someone that is not a pro, and most of us aren't pros. So, the moment an average player with pad fights with an average pc player, the pad wins 90% of the time... because 90% of the time you're not fighting a pro mnk player.

Controller just has low skill floor, most can just pick up a controller and run and gun since the aim assist is strong in a point blank fight
