The more i rewatch the video, the more i am impressed with the timing of everything. This is fairly difficult to pull off. Good job and well done on ac design. I never would have thought to utilize dual main arms.
I've been trying it tonight. Your approach to phase 1 is spot on. Arial overboost to get close and shotgun spam is great and avoids the fodder. I still have an issue with stopping the overboost, I overshoot too much. Still working on a 40 sec phase 1, but can do it with half health. Phase 2 with this load out is pretty simple. Phase 3... your timing is TREMENDOUS. I am having a difficult time timing Phase 3 melee attacks. Many props to you on figuring this out.
@@HeplingHandGaming Getting bodied blocked by those ads is beyond annoying. Phase 2 as long as the Spiders don't clip you its fine, 3 oh my lord what a pain. So many attempts just dying on the first attack not understanding anything. Thank you for the praise. I just didn't want someone else have to sit there for 9 hours like I did trying to figure out what to do.
Now watch VelarrO ac6 all mind no damage. When I watched his video I saw that I was on the right track as far as weapons go. But his strategy and the tactics he implemented to no damage run him was amazing.
props for doing some dodging at the final phase with the claw attacks! all the other S rank videos ive seen just facetank him and hope for the best which is so lame.
I don't blame them. I had to sit there with a trainer on and practice dodging for 4 hours, and even then its still not exactly consistent as the video shows. Getting the S rank amounts to just clearing the mission, so why bother.
I set out to no heal every boss in the game and almost did, but this man, nope. Just gave up, with healing I can do it, but with all the additional enemies and his insane speed its just too much for me. Pretty fun boss that was super funny, got to kill this random for a like the 5th time. And it was fun to try out the coral oscillator I just got on this dude.
@@mukash1838 Their offscreen lasers do 4k. If they decide to spin like a top as you fight the boss and you get clipped by that, thats 6k down the drain. They dont need to be there.
I’ve just reached true ending today… and kinda took a break from fighting after multiple attempts. After watching your video, I realized how much melee move he used. I didn’t have any problems with Ayre and Walter, but this guy? Makes me hate him more that V.II Snail LOL.
Both those things still work, just shoot one more time for the stun. Harris also probably really well now. Pistols even could work out. I'm out of the game at this point, so my knowledge is limited.
very sleek and smooth piloting... it's really hard to use the shotguns on Iguazu in any of the phases since he moves around a lot and can react abruptly.
I was not expecting the S ranking of certain parts of the game to be so easy compared to how hard some missions are to beat first time. Though this partially comes down to harder missions typically being trivialised with traditionally OP setups, while the easier missions have tighter budget requirements forcing you to play much better and with weaker setups in a few cases. Balteus, Sea Spider, the enforcement squads mission for the red guns, Raven/The Branch Group, Ibis, Ayre, Carla and Chatty, Allmind. They all gave me trouble on my first runs against them, some of them really pushed my sh*t in. Then I S rank most of those fights first try. But then easier stuff like Volta and Iguazu, BAWS arsenal number 2, survey the floating city, Ice Worm, and Walter gave me crazy amounts of trouble with the S ranks.
S ranking stuff feels very half-baked. Once you optimize, It's mostly just do it fast and single segment it. Old AC games had fun twists on top of time requirements, like destroy X number of cars, protect the generators etc. You feel that lacking element here.
There is a lock on option, I must admit I forgot about that myself. I'm heating this 3rd phase of this boss, around 30+ tries now. Hardest boss in whole 3 playthroughs of game imo.
There something about his lock on I don’t understand if enemy walks into my hard lock they are instantly priotized. But him if enemies walk into his lock it remains. Is this PC?

Yep, stupidly hard the last phase. 30+ tries now of different builds arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So close every time. trickiest boss in whole playthrough (of 3x) by far.
If you think it’s unreactable or bs or tracks too hard, your ac was just too slow. Even with medium weight acs this is very doable and dodges can be consistent
why use dual zimmermans, they are going to get patched soon so in the future it wont be as good of a reference for players who haven't reached this boss yet
@@Khan111 I suppose, the zimmerman just has a lot of burst close range damage/stagger and leaves a lot of room for error since they can do a lot of stagger so quickly. And the dodging is not too big of a problem if you run reverse joint legs, you can jump over most of his attacks in the last phase pretty consistently. But you're right this game is busted anyways nothing is really balanced
Compared to Walter and Ayre, Iguazu as a FINAL final boss felt underwhelming as fuck narrativelywise. I mean, why should I care about a bitter sub-rival that I've beaten like 3 times before? It would be far cooler if ALLMIND somehow assimilated Walter, and Walter being a genious that he is simply took over ALLMIND at the last second and sicked all the AI and ACs under its control against us in a final despirate attempt to thwart coral. And in this final instance, Rusty just fucked off into nonexistance, it would be badass if both Rusty and Ayre would come to our aid in this final battle.
The whole thing felt tacked on, like the final boss was supposed to be on the previous level and this was just the epilogue. Rusty is just straight MIA, probably stranded planet-side or dead.

Beat it with 2x Stun Needles + 2x Gatling. Felt awful. What a terrible boss fight. FromSoft really went and made terrible boss fight after terrible boss fight for this game. I had a feeling quadruple shotguns was the way to go if you didn't want to do 2x Stun Needles + 2x Gating.
I have to say, Iguazu's moveset in the final phase looks fucking sick!
They do look cool animation wise.
Who you tellin. I died just watching to see what he was gonna do next
Quad shotguns let me beat this boss in 2 tries, vs the 20+ tries using my default loadout. Thanks for the help!

Badass, I would've ran out of EN, gotten staggered and then obliterated by melee attacks right out the gate 👍
Nah you would have been fine
Walter and Ayre's boss fights I felt I didn't need to go shotgun meta but this fight man.
Its a tough one when doing off meta stuff.
I went full aerial lightweight missile boat build with Carla's missile setup and gridwalker+coral generator
Missile boat ftw

when you designed a boss fight but half assed it, how do fix it? sure let's add fucking mobs in it
Just make it Ayre but add like 7 moves that glitch out based on elevation. Oh and have him cancel his recovery sometimes because why not.

Exellent melee dodges 👍🏾 been looking for the timing & now that I've seen it... 😈

What's the timing on dodging the melee attacks in the second phase?
Really early into his swings. If you happen to be going the wrong way as he starts you're gonna get clipped regardless.
Good shit

Curious as to why you threw away your guns before final phase? Was it for a speed boost?
For every single drop of speed and EN recovery possible. Hes really inconsistent to dodge as is.

How is it possible to "Replay" a final mission? It does not appear for me, at least for ones of the two other endings, not sure about this one
After beating it the mission just shows up for me in the replay list. Might be a bug if its not?
