I don't have enough words to thank you for all the videos you have presented on Research. I am a PhD. scholar, and your videos are helping me alot. They are very good quality, excellently presented and giving comprehensive details on each topic. You are very handsome , and your articulation is also great. Keep it up.
Dear Sir I am writing you from turkey. I am a PhD student in the design department. Your posts are extremely guide and inspiring... Especially useful for 'design' departments that have both quantitative and qualitative values.heartfelt thanks.
Very coherent structure and well presented examination of literature review principles. Thank you Professor Attia for posting an exceptionally helpful piece of work.
Hi, this is Rashmi frm Chandigarh, India Recently I started literature review for my research work.Your lecture is one of the best.I got answers of my many queries and I have learnt the organised way of doing literature review. Thanks a lot 🙏
Hi Shady, thank you for your work in explaining all these concepts to the rest of us mere mortals. Within the context of an overall PhD thesis, can one do a systematic literature review (SLR) instead of this literature review process you have explained here; are both processes interchangeable?
This has been very helpful. More so than what my own professors have provided me with my dissertation; which has become a horrible process. Thanks again for this presentation, I'm glad I found it.
Dear Professor, what do you advise to researchers, especially to MSC or PhD students, in developing country who used only English as medium of instruction, mostly as second language, to overcome limitations of covering literature in other language which have mentioned in this lecture? Thank you for your commitment to share your scientific experience
Very well presented Dr. Shady. Hope to receive more lectures from you in the future. By the way, do you help to review some of the thesis of scholars (PhD in progress)?
well, I am starting another degree in my academic journey and watching you makes me feel its not that horrible and it making me feel easy even though the fact its not that easy easy. Thank you. I wondering one thing watching your videos. You posted it when you are an assistance for your professor and it posted in 2015. So probably you are a professor by now.😁 LoL... just my assumption. Anyway, best luck for you🙏
@@Shady_Attia Now I can call you Professor Shady. I just watched your Research Question' aims and objectives Video 2022 you mentioned you are now a professor at a uni in Belgium. And I look at the timing you upload the video was February 2022. And Yes I am right...your parents must be proud of you. I hope one day I will make my late father proud of me as well. Very good job. However, I think it would be good to delineate the boundaries between the lit. Review and systematic review. Your talk seams to be closer to systematic review. Wish you all the best.
I found some seemingly good peer reviewed articles in another language other than English, but how do I use it if I can't read it? Hire someone to translate it? ... By the way, you can either do a matrix like you mentioned or you can do an annotated bibliography to ascertain and retain info for lit review.
Ever heard of Africa, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Malawi, Zimbambwe, Tanzania, Mekerere University in Uganda....I only heard you mention Europe. You even missed N. America, S. America, Australia, India, Parkistan, Russia...!!!!!
