  • What nights are like with a sick child. Just grateful both of them aren’t sick at the same time 😓🫠 and that I’m not sick with them of course.
He’s looking a lot better today! Actually had some breakfast and was in the mood to play so I think we’re on our road to recovery. Yesterday was definitely the roughest day though.
I know many of you commented and messaged me that your toddlers are sick too, hang in there! Today is day 5 so hopefully it’ll be over within a week ❤️

it’s totally understandable to co-sleep when littles are sick! it’s the RIGHT thing to do…to provide comfort & be close incase of an emergency & monitor symptoms. you’re doing everything right ❤ i’m not a mommy yet myself but you are truly inspiring. wishing kane a full recovery!

It is not the right thing to do. If you have ever had to work a death because the mom accidenytly rolled on the child is horrible. It is worse when the mom is tired

Yah if it reaches above 99 and keeps going up, don’t wait till last minute, a lot of things could go wrong, yes you’re the mother of that little boy but you have to realize he’s still a child and can’t fight the fever like you can.

This isnt a critisim but i learnt the hard way that if they have a high temp give them the meds to get it down right away. I raised my sister,At 4yrs, her temp hit over 102 and i delayed meds, she ended up fitting and her brain swelled due to her temp. She was rushed to hosp and was fine but lesson learned and i never made that mistake again.

My oldest had a febrile seizure when she was 6 months old due to a uti that I didn’t know she had. I took her to the er immediately and she was fine. She’s 9 now but I do not wait to give meds with any fevers. As soon as I notice the fever they get meds.

Dat kan niet van de koorts komen
Het is meest natuurlijke voor het lichaam erom zelf tegen vechten zonder pijn medicatie dat geeft een verzachting het stopt de koorts niet

@@victoriaaaaaawestaaa seizures from temperature is very very real and kids die... If the temp gets a little higher than this it can literally cook the insides... Tylenol absolutely 199% breaks a temp..

104 is an extremely dangerous temperature I would honestly have recommended taking him to the hospital once he was at 103.6

No problem at all with kids sleeping with me when they were sick. Did the same thing with my kids when they were sick. Especially with my son’s. His fever couldn’t go past 99. As it would cause him to go into Febrile seizures. SCARIEST THING EVER. 😢🥺

  • @Stoneheadass

He physically doesn’t look ok. You should’ve taken him to the hospital. It’s one thing when they have a fever and are up and playing, it’s another when they are so limp they can’t even hold their head up

Cosleeping when the are poorly actually is proven to help regulate them ans support their immune system through connection and breathing/heart rate follows parents

I would not sleep alone as a baby, my parents tried, the ended up taking shifts. Mom would have me after day care (both worked full time I was fine don’t worry) from 5:30 pm-10, dad would sleep after work until about 10:30 and have me until they both went to work at 6 am. It sucked and they divorced when I was 7 but they always made sure I was okay

Kids these days can't even sleep or be sick without it being shared with the Internet. This is appaling. Just take care of your kids without filming everything. Not everything needs to be ppsted online. Those poor kids.

If that was my child they would’ve had medicine before going to bed, and would’ve gone to the hospital in the middle of the night. I can’t imagine taking the chance that they could get even more sick. Also, why exploit your child on the internet, especially when they’re sick? Poor kiddos

I feel so bad for these kids, bad enough to post them online like this, but when they're extremely ill and in pain? Disgusting. This should be illegal

Some advice i was given from a paediatrician, child & even adult cough syrup does nothing for you. A better & safer option is a teaspoon of honey ( over 1yr old only) when needed. I have 2 littles myself and it works amazing.

  • @moriahlyn

Don’t know why your cosleep if you’re just gonna get up every few hours. Just seems like you’re putting yourself at risk of getting sick, doing that. I wouldn’t because I have other children, I have to work and don’t want to keep spreading illness. My kids are also terrible at cosleeping. I also do childcare so it’s important to contain illness. You do what works best for your family of course, I’m just stating that that would absolutely not work for mine. It’s crazy how way different each family can be.

    • @marinakucheynik
      @marinakucheynik  6 місяців тому

That’s totally understandable! Fortunately I don’t have to go to work so even if I do get sick because of this, I’ll be home with them regardless. ❤️ we are all very different. I feel more peace of mind when they’re right next to me so that’s why I do it 😌
