To promote religious liberty you need to promote freedom of conscience in all areas of life including in relation to mandates for COVID shots. This must consist of more than a mere theoretical doctrinal acknowledgement. There are dire, real world consequences for those refusing to be jabbed including unemployment and exclusion from society. These totalitarian mandates are a stepping stone to further erosion of liberties, including freedom of religion. This should have been obvious by now to those claiming to possess the spirit of prophecy.
I would have liked to see more sympathy. I don't think it isn't obvious to them. EGW and Elder Wilson made it clear that there would be conflict for those who seek to promote freedom of conscience. What I was hoping for was options for resolution for those who have lost their jobs or excluded from society, for those who are in the church but not of the same opinion. How do we promote religious liberty and support our members of different opinions?
We must stop trying to be like Jesus, and let Jesus, through a daily saving relationship of prayer, bible study and witnessing, be himself in you! Gal 2:20

As loving and loyal Seventh Day Adventists we sing: "Dare to be a Daniel! Dare to stand alone! Dare to have a purpose firm! Dare to make it known!" (P. P. Bliss, 1864) The Scriptures say of this young hero: "But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself" (Daniel 1:8, KJV). Daniel refused to put anything unclean in his body even though it might cost him his education, future career, or life. What was the result? God honored this faithful conscientious young man with ten times the wisdom of all his peers and he was exalted to a very high position in Babylon. God bless all those who chose to stand for freedom of conscience in a world of conformity. May God prosper them as He did Daniel.

Question.. is it wrong for me to get the COVID vaccine if the hospital that I work for requires that all of it’s personnel do so? Please, also bear in mind that I practice Cardiopulmonary Therapy in the ICU and the majority of my patients are COVID positive. The Seventh-day Adventist Church places strong emphasis on health and well-being. we encourage responsible immunization/vaccination, and have no religious or faith-based reason not to encourage our adherents to responsibly participate in protective and preventive immunization programs. However, we are not the conscience of the individual church member, and recognize individual choices. These are exercised by the individual. God bless.
At the outset, ask yourself if you have personal sovereignty over your body and your conscience. If linked to employment, buying and selling and participating in society, then that is blackmail. Is it right to bow to blackmail? You have freedom of choice. But unfortunately this pLandemic, has removed our choice, and on pain of losing our jobs, homes etc, what will we do? It's short term planning or eternal planning...but we can plan for both... 🌹

What a disgrace for adventist church to speak about liberty while having an official stance saying that the Government has the right to MANDATE (force) vaccination, thus providing no option of religious liberty defense 4 its members. Shame!
I agree but thank God there were a few ministers who provided exemption letters for anyone needing them including non SDA people! God Bless those ministers🙏
