Sun Särkyä Anna Mä En (I won't let you break) was the song that really made Johanna big back in 2007. Really beautiful song and her voice is made for it.
Still her biggest introduction was Olet uneni kaunein competed Finland Eurovision 2007. But Finns selected dull Hanna Pakarinen only because was the first Idols winner. 😒
First 2 minutes something goes in to my eyes. And first time i listend those words without anger and male overpowered voice. That was pure beaty. Thank you to find this masterpiece and share this.
You should listen/watch the video ”Lohtu” the charity song from few years ago to build a new children’s hospital. The song was written by none other than Tuomas Holopainen. Lots of famous finnish artists in it also Johanna.
Johanna does indeed play violin... in AURI. love Johanna's Finnish solo song, "Kuolevainen" (English: "Mortal"). It is an incredible song about someone who is ostracized and treated as not even being human. The video is wonderful.
In 200 years, we'll be discussing Metallica in the same way that we discuss Mozart or Beethoven today. That is, absolute legends of their craft, whose contributions to musical art will influence our world forever. Covers like this are evidence of that.
Johanna's voice is fantastic in Auri, and on the "Life And Times of Scrooge McDuck" album, and it's fantastic here. And "Nothing Else Matters" is one of my absolute favorite power ballads of all time, and "Silent Lucidity" by Queensrÿche is another one. You mentioned that Nothing Else Matters is genreless, have you heard VoicePlay's version? And you said you want to check out Auri more, I hope you do, it feels like Auri is a bit overlooked as far as reactions go, not many channels do Auri reactions as far as I can tell. One of my favorites from their latest album is "Those We Don't Speak Of", it gives me chills, and Johanna's voice is absolutely haunting.
@@0oma0 Haha, yes, Steve n' Seagulls is awesome, their cover of AC/DC's Thunderstruck is something else. They even did a cover of Nightwish's Sleeping Sun, featuring non other than Tarja Turunen.
I don't know when Metallica was formed but they were popular in Finland and Sweden already in the early eighties. Probably more countries but there was no internet back then so no one knew until you saw them live and saw the size of the crowd. But this album made them mega stars which they absolutely deserved.
Metallica was formed in 1981 and unfortunately they were popular here in the Nordic countries. Unfortunately because that made them go touring in Scandinavia in September 1986 as part of their Damage, Inc. Tour. And while being en route from Stockholm to Copenhagen they had an accident near Ljungby resulting in the death of Cliff Burton.
Anneke and Marcela Bovio sing Like a Stone from Chris Cornell. With Anneke you should react Vuur with talking. They both do it on s guitar. Marcela is the red head background singer in Aeryeon
Fun fact, since I know you like Poets of the Fall: They wrote a song for her called ”Salaisuuksia” (= secrets) which ended up on her album ”Kauriinsilmät”. It’s a sweet song about childhood memories with the same kind of beautiful lyrics Poets usually bless us with in English. In anticipation of the band’s upcoming 10th anniversary, Marko performed it live a few rare times in 2012 as a special treat since Poets had never done a song in Finnish before. There’s one particularly nice video of it, even though the sound quality isn’t the best, since it’s a fan recording. There’s no official one, unfortunately. However, I’m quite certain you’ll enjoy it, perhaps listening to it on your own, or perhaps even reacting to it: ua-cam.com/video/UmYHNgPDqVc/v-deo.htmlsi=WRQi8NivQdfNB0Xq
Sorry, but Johanna is so far away metal, and she have never do anything like metal anywhere. Pure voice, and the meaning, feeling what she sing. That was awsome. 👍
How true, my young nephew played this on his guitar and recorded it on his phone, a few days later he had a motorcycle accident and we used his video for the introduction to pictures of his life, Johanna's version always brings me to tears when I hear it.
@@andrebrodbeck3883 Yeah he was my wife's godson, just coming up to his 30th birthday too. They had video of it and seen how it happened, snapped his neck so it was instant, not another mark on him.

For me Johanna is the perfect woman. Smart, sweet, talented and so beautiful. Tuomas is a lucky man.

Beautiful voice. Nice to see and hear her doing a solo performance, that's new to me.

This is not my cup of Tea, I prefer Tarjas version, the one when she sings it on a wedding.
I prefer Johanna's version more but then it isn't a competition..So nothing matters.
