I'm thinking about upgrading to the ae30. What are your thoughts on capabilities to replace tenor sax? I'm not sure when I will be able to support playing acoustic again and I haven't liked the sax tones on ae-10.

Latency is not an issue, so I'm sure it's easier to handle than the 10 as far as saxophone sounds go.

I'm just itching to play again. But I want to sound as close to what I could when I was healthier.

The tone of the saxophone is a matter of taste, but I think the 30 has a better feel than the 10 in terms of the rise and fall of the sound.
The problem with the 30 is that it's expensive ^^;

@@SAXMASA un fortunately my kids snuck in and dropped my tenor so I have a hefty repair bill in the future. AE-30 is still cheaper then replacement and repair. It is true we spend $1000's on music equipment to play a $10 gig...
