I fully agree with you! For the scooters segment, SYM & KYMCO really do their R & D on making proper scooters and don't forget about the qualities they're providing into making these scooters. If you've rode a Taiwanese scooter before, you'll understand what's brother Fizo travel is talking about, and you wouldn't feel regrets owning one of Taiwanese scoots. Build to last! Never fail to impress...
Ya bro i agree with what u said too. I think it’s because Sym and Kymco are scooter makers. Unlike other brands where they also need to spend times R&D for their other types of motorcycles. Those who ever own it might not know how good it was until they switch to Japanese scooters, Then they will realise how good the Sym and Kymco are. However the advantage of Japanese scooters is cheaper parts.
@@FizoTravel I am asking for that specific givi rack, or better said, the 4 metal mounts that fix the rack on scooter's chassis. The only the one i find is the one with "funny legs", as you well said it!
I think the one that is with the lake is noy Givi rack, it is somekind of aftermarket brand. As far as i know Givi rack there is only one which is the one I’m using. Let me check the part number for u
Eh bro you left your camera behind!! 😂 But seriously, this kind of review is the best. Speaking from solid experience instead of those bullsheet reviews only talk about specs, which we can all read ourselves. Thanks again for your effort!
Haha nice one bro😀… Thanks man appreciate your kind words..Weirdly for me i find doing this kinda of review more comfortable for me rather than reading specs type.… This Cruisym is not a popular scooter so i hope this kinda a review will help potential buyers to decide.. Thanks for watching and commenting bro..I’ll see you around aite👍🏼
Thanks for the genuine detailed review bro. I also ride a Cruisym 300i (mostly because it is cheaper than an XMax and heard horror stories about the servicing for that one) and I can attest to the quality of the Cruisym. Used to ride a Duke 200 and that was a real expensive lesson for servicing and maintenance. For the Cruisym I can park for 2-3 weeks and then pick up and go without any problems with battery etc. Only small point is sometimes the circuit board will tend to reset the time to 0000 if I switch on engine before the startup can be complete. Wanted to ask if you have any tyre recommendations for the Cruisym and any workshops you recommend for this particular bike servicing? Hard to find mechanics I can trust fully these days. 😢
Thanks bro, Ya man the Cruisym is awesome, instead i just took it back from my friend recently, it feel good to ride it again definitely better build than Xmax. I never had that time problem you mentioned, maybe you need to check your battery or wiring. Tyres is something you cannot be fussy about when come to Cruisym as the tyre size is limited in SG Market, but some shops does have carry top brands like Pirelli Angel and Michelin City Grip 2, Mitas Singapore also have it size. I recommend workshop you go to AC Motor in Kaki Bukit, You can google for it exact address, it's a dedicated scooter only workshop. Tell them the Malay guy who own both Xmax and Cruisym sent you. They should know Keep in touch bro
Thanks man glad to hear you are back on your Cruisym haha maybe you can do a video about the switcheroo :) Will check out AC motor - appreciate the input. Yup I’m using Tim sun tyres and feel it’s a bit off compared to my old ones. Prob looking to change to a city grip.
@RB35-sgp Not switch bro, Having both now, swap between both, ease my Xmax mileage abit. I think regarding the tire maybe because your front and rear different tyres? hence different compounds and rigidity. Or maybe try play around with air pressure. TimSum is good imo. Very underrated. Keep me update bro
@@RB35-sgp No bro, last tyre changed about 2 yrs ago was at Unique motor and i bought Michelin, but then my friend who coi my Sym changed to Timsun after the michelim botak…..I think TimSun the rear tyre size is correct but load rating is wrong, maybe the rear model is for Nmax upsize, after taking back from my friend i changed the rear only with Pirelli Angel at JB. If not because of the load rating i think Timsun is good..Guys from Xmax group also some got say TimSun is sticky cos soft compound…I think the problem is the TimSum rear size for Cruisym is actually for Nmax upsize.

Hi Fizo, for Xmax belting, what would be your recommendation and/or how many km we could stretch it before replacement? For the cam-screw, you mention you will talk about it, we you change it?
Hi bro, for Xmax, in the manual stated belt to change at 20k km, i would push it to 25k-30k if im only using the Xmax in SG, but if i know im going for a road trip i will change it before the trip. For the cam screw, i didn’t change mine, my Xmax has been fine so far, i think only some units are more prone to the issue. It’s a QC issue i believed. However i will still recommend at 20k km servicing to ask the mechanic to check the screw tightness

Hello, Fizo! Nice review! I just bought a Sym Cruisym 300 Alpha, the 2021 model with electronic display on board.
