Imagine how much better Ironwood's descent would have played out if *this* had been his first coldblooded murder. Yang, though... she charges in instead of shooting so she has the momentum to fall, and she's inexplicably oneshotted so she isn't conscious enough to save herself. Forgetting for the moment that Ruby or Weiss could've caught her (yet didn't even try), wouldn't it have been more tragic if Yang's first instinct had been to reach for Gambol Shroud *instead* of propelling herself to a lower platform or bridge? And *then* Weiss holds her own against an actual maiden after fighting like an idiot against a fake one at Haven, reinforcing the perception that she went down solely for Jaune's arc. Meanwhile, Hare continues to be her own kind of stupid. Too many layers of stupid!
