Built a few partworks and this one weirdly makes me smile so much as its just monsterous in size

Hey wayne i got a question mate. Is it necessary to use the oil in model building? I looked it up. Could never find a straight answer, figured i might as well ask a model builder. I'm just getting into the crazy world of models and up until recently when i ordered this very kit, I've done only plastic kits. I just wanna know if i actually have to use oil or can i just screw it in.
If you are screwing into metal then yes. Not unless you want broken screws, rounded heads or stripped screwdriver heads :D

All that metal is awesome. But whoever thought 18 batteries to light it was a good idea is crazy....it's a very lazy inefficient and stupidly expensive way to light one model.
Ian Campbell over at Partwork Upgrades might com up with an alternative powersource for it
@@bedfordshiremodeller4491 oh....I could do my own thing.....I have on my R2 and Teminator, but it's still annoying.....I thought the way the lights on the iron man were bad, but the lights on this build are MUCH worse.
You could call it heavy metal lol
