This seems to be a huge upgrade from the CR18 harvest I bought a year or so ago. The drive train fell apart immediately and the shocks were somewhat welded to the chassis 😵💫. IMO The best mini crawler money can buy is the Cayman Prooooooooooow. Great video homie!
A real bargain the EVO with this prize! I bought the Van and Ranger 5 Months ago and they so amazing fun to crawl! Now i wait for my EVO Harvest and later to get EVO gearbox Motor spare part for my old CR-18P to upgrade. Maybe also build a 6x6 with the third outdrive of the EVo gearbox.
that is cool adam and for the price metal drivetrain great for the kids another cool vid u explain every perfect not to much but u always explain what needs covering never get sick of watching your builds or reviews coming from someone that been into the hobby for over 20 years now welldone and greatwork thanks again
Ha ha i broke the same bedsite and one body fix point in the bed (falling down 2 Meters down on concrete) ! Lost one Mirror (found and fixed) and lost one Lightbar glass (never found) but i doo very hard outdoor trails and some brutal long roll downs. My newest breakage the front driveshaft.but i love the Truck for his capabillities!
It looks good and has really nice features. And at that price point is a real contender in the micro crawlers field. I’m just having fun with my fcx24 k5 though. I just got new tires for it and that made a real big difference in its crawling manners. I think I just may have to go to work and make some inner wheel weights out of brass or bronze and I think my K5 would really be a beast.
Oh yeah, almost forgot….that’s the old International/Harvester body. Which really makes it cool. I’d like to see you turn that into a recovery tow truck out of the Evo.
I’m excited for these. My rockvan is my second favorite after my trx4m (only Becuase I put way to much into it). Ordered an orange T hunter evo as soon as it was available.
Looks fun and so beautiful. I will overland with this, I ordered one 😂. Thanks for the info. I’m new and had no ideas of this was a decent one to pick up.
Yeah the brass rings works great I have them in the front of my rock van , And the front of my trail hunter leaving those two rigs stock, appreciate you sharing, got my silver K5 today it is beautiful. Catch you on the next one
I get the front brass wheeladapter also on my Van and Ranger and with the the Injora 5S and RC4WD Mud Slinger the expierence are amazing on this littel Trucks.
I'm surprised the suspension seems not to move while crawling. Springs too strong or any other issue in the link system ? Same Rx/ESC box as the first version ? Do you feel a difference in low speed control now the motor is a 130 class ? Thanks for this video.👍
I am so glad i have found you and your Channel! I am pretty new to this Hobby and now have ordered my first scx 24 😄 your channel gives me the best introduction possible. I have found an axle set i am really curious about. Is there anway you could look into that?
Looks very promising 👌 I've been planning to get the kit version. How much better is this one? Is it worth waiting as it is not available here yet. Thanks for sharing.
I would go ahead and build the kit and then buy the motor/gearbox when it's available as a standalone replacement part. That's what I plan to do with our T-hunter!
I sold the harvest after furitek released the brushless fx118. But on that truck I did stainless links, driveshafts, front brass portal boxes, wheels & tires
Looks great except the front articulation seem to be less than the non eve model. Any Idea if this will improve if moving the servo to the axle ? Any other ideas on how to improve this ( issue ?) . thanks
Just be careful with that. On the EVO, you'll need to find a place to relocate the ESC when you install the SOA mount. On the original CR18P, it fits easily.
Hello Adam, i wanted to know if you can help me, is it possibel to put the two speed tranmission and servo, on the cr18p trail hunter (the olde one)? and if the original eletronics suports the intal of the new servo ?
@@The_bradesterboy yeah idk? The box says waterproof on one side and water resistant on the other so it’s confusing. Same with the original rock van so I sank it completely in my review vid and it’s been fine. So I ran this one pretty deep as well and haven’t had any issues so far 🤷🏻♂️
Have you watched his other videos on the same course he has had other stock trucks do way worse. It’s harder than you think making one of those videos. Good job Adam!!🎉
It is a little tippy. But what rtr isn’t? The biggest thing is the shocks that come on these. I speculate if it’s anything like the cr18p They’re way to stiff and bouncy.
@@TrokaRC yeah the stock shocks don’t do much to help it. But their $30 oil shocks with no springs or a cut down spring are really good and increase stability and articulation a bunch. The stock tires are pretty good for an rtr. They just need a little break in time and a little bit of weight and they grab damn near everything.

Looks really good, sits a little high but seems like it has a lot of potential for mods and upgrades

It climbs exceptionally
Good LCG and weight distribution 🤩

Thanks for the review on the Harvest. You are doing a great job. Love your blue power wagon, just sick for a toy.
I think it is it has a lot of potential

Adam, have you done a video on the upgrades on for the Hobby Plus CR18P EVO Harvest crawler.
I'm surprised the suspension seems not to move while crawling. Springs too strong or any other issue in the link system ?
Same Rx/ESC box as the first version ? Do you feel a difference in low speed control now the motor is a 130 class ?
Thanks for this video.👍
Yeah the spring rate is way too stiff for the truck. That was my main issue with it. It don’t flex at all! lol
I feel like the slow speed control in low gear is nearly identical to the regular CR18P, which I was very happy to discover!
I’m curious if the 2 speed trans would be easily modified to a dig feature.
Good question. Would love to see a dig on the small scales.
Awesome video Adam 👍😁
Can’t wait to see what Injora comes up with for these!

I would go ahead and build the kit and then buy the motor/gearbox when it's available as a standalone replacement part. That's what I plan to do with our T-hunter!
@CapeCrawlers Thanks. I will use it mostly for crawling on small course, so I may not need that second gear anyway. 👍
there really making me want one!
I'm curios on what upgrades you have done for the cr18p evo harvest. I would like to see an update video on it please
I sold the harvest after furitek released the brushless fx118. But on that truck I did stainless links, driveshafts, front brass portal boxes, wheels & tires
Can’t wait till upgrade video
I personally love the look of the body
It has grown on me a lot!
Very nice and two speed truck not a bad looking truck thanks for the great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Impressive, man just found your channel, I subscribed, you sure have the gear to check these mini crawlers out!
Thanks for watching!
Thing looks killer🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
i would love to see them start making 1/24 crawlers next
A CR24P Evo would be amazing!
I saw that. have you done any upgrades on it yet.
I would like to see a budget build on this.
Wait I'm confused. 2fm said it was waterproof and ran it through puddles in the rain but u said it was only water resistant
It’s supposed to be waterproof. But keep in mind waterproof doesn’t mean submarine proof.
It does though. That's y there's a difference between waterproof and water resistant
The manual says water resistant. I’d rather err on the side of caution on this topic
Can you please tell me the inner diameter of those wheels? Thank you
Looks great except the front articulation seem to be less than the non eve model. Any Idea if this will improve if moving the servo to the axle ? Any other ideas on how to improve this ( issue ?) . thanks
The shocks are super stiff. I think they could function better with no springs or shorter springs. It's possible that the SOA conversion could help
Put the same Budget on it as on the TRX4m And lets see if it can beat it. Looks like a good competitor if you ask me.
on the add-on tab when ordering they offer a hobby plus soa mount which seems like a no brainer for me.
Just be careful with that. On the EVO, you'll need to find a place to relocate the ESC when you install the SOA mount. On the original CR18P, it fits easily.
@fairrc good call. Didn't even consider a possible conflict.

adam if u have time to answer this do u now if the furitek power wagon has the 2 speed in it
Keren❤
Be kool to make it a high trail put some big tall tires
1st time seeing a 2 speed transmission on a small rig. 😮🤔
Wow! You haven’t checked out the fcx24? It’s had 2 speed for over a year now.
@@2fmrc I'm aware of the rig, I just never noticed it.....
How does it do better than the k5 blazer and creamsicle😭😂😭, is it the new Trx4m?????
The days of the trx4m are over lol. We’ll kind off. More 3rd parties need to jump on making parts for these.
@@JUSTHAVEFUNRCTbh I don’t like the harvest at all, but the Trx4m could never die, they are very reliable if you treat them good
Are they waterproof?
No only water resistant not waterproof completely
Yeah they are waterproof. I ran mine through plenty water lol

Two folks from Instagram and one UA-cam subscriber. I can't remember their usernames offhand.
