I love seeing your thrift finds and your aesthetic eye-everything is so bold, colorful, and in a sea of neutrals, I need this kind of dopamine dressing in my life. 🎉
WOW!!!!.... that particular thrift store is ginormous!!... Thrifting is my favorite. I've been doing it for more than 20 years but I think if I walked into the store I'll probably pass out.😂😂..... this particular location would probably be a situation where I could do one aisle per day... until I got through the store I have never seen a thrift store with this much stuff😁❤️
You have such great taste - and I would love to go shopping with you (in my imaginary world). I am from Norway and live in UK now. I used to live in SF 40 years ago and thrifted in the Height Ashbury area.
You looked great in the orange . I love how you Dress but then I do dress the same way. You and Beth Always Play Dress up must know each other. I think I’ve seen you together or her assistant looks a lot like you.
You did both in this vid you gave great information & shopped 💜 love your ideas. I love vintage lingerie I would have never thought to wear it as you suggested. The robe reminds me of one my mom had in a he late 60’s earth 70’s. How fun! I love your channel so much. ❤
Amazing video as always! I just can’t wait for Friday mornings lol. Have you thought about picking one or two key trends and then bringing them to life in one or two thrift stores? Or maybe a couple of fashion week looks?
Great🎉 the sweater alone- makers cost at the very least $500. I'm serious. I am now thinking of styling a burnt orange velvet dinner suit from the early 80's- total Joan C. I think I will wear it with a Skye Blue top of some sort. Absolutely needed content. Wearable and translatable from "bralette to tank, to sweater to t- shirt. Bralette occasions and years of life are quite limited. Option for the robe? Shorts and a t shirt? As always great, interesting, and easy to watch. Nice music. Cool ideas.
Stumbled across your channel! Now subscribed. Suggestion, for a tutorial how about showing your closet, discussing brands and putting together some looks for us!?
Why am I recognizing the print and color of the sundress at 6:02? If it not you, it got to be Beth that has that print. It is hard for me to find vintage sleep gowns that I can fit since I am a stocker built with a large chest. I can't wait to see you style these items because the dress you want your mom to repair (I would just push the snags back into the fabric with a thicker needle to hide them) could go with the orange blazer and you can throw on some boots. I went thrifting and got some cute items, the major find was a faux fur brown/blond/tan/cream midi length coat for $19, a pair of buckskin Bjorndal lace up oxford like bootie zip closure and chunky wood mid heels $12, and a midi length olive trench coat that has real tan leather accents (asking myself do I need another. lol) it was a splurge at $22. Enjoyed this video, with you providing an inspirational picture. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in this new year.
I think the brown safari jacket looked great on you! You could have paired it with an orange turtleneck and flair jeans. Your chunky gold jewelry would be perfect accessories. I like your style. It’s unique and fun!🧡
Love all the tips and this haul was epic. The sweater and orange trousers work brilliantly. The orange blazer will be fabulous with the trousers and there are also great colour blocking options with tops, bags and shoes! 😊
Good for you! Today i was ready ti leave and put a broach on my coat. I thought oh no, i have clip on earrings and a necklace i should take something off. But didnt. Thanks for saying that.
Thx for sharing location I live over the hill. Now I have two thrift stores to check out Jillian Felice Goes to "hope of the valley " tomorrow I'll make a day off it. Any great restaurants mid price point ? love your terry cloth dress
I’d be interested in a your thoughts on which fabrics to look out for, which to avoid, best composition etc. i come across a lot of acrylic and poly mixes that put me off a lot of items.
Love that jacket. Looks very sharp on you. And that terry coverup!!! Perfection. Good finds - and good advice, too. My first "vintage" was a 1940s velvet hat that my friend used for a skit at church. I talked her into giving it to me, and I still have it. I bet I was 10 or 12.
Annette I have to tell you I’m absolutely obsessed with your style and videos. You are my favorite you tuber….hands down.
Same here! Regards from Belgium, Micheline
Annette is goals!
HOW do you know it's vintage? Can you tell us how you know?
That’s exactly what I was going to say! I’ve not long discovered this channel and I’m binging at every opportunity ❤

I love your style! And I love a good blazer. So New England! And I especially love vintage jewelry.

You rock orange . It was my Dad's favourite colour; the colour of genius and insanity 💣💥
I had this brown terry cloth dress back in the 70s.... It was the most flattering dress i ever owned....
I love you!!! You are pure entertainment. So happy you are on UA-cam.
I love your style!

My very favorite thrift store!
Where is this one located? It looks so organized! I would like to go to this one❤

Can you do a 2nd street haul
❤❤❤❤❤
Who’s filming?

I wish I had great people to thrift w. Here in Hilo Hawaii fashion n style is not really a priority. I feel like an odd ball. ❤
Loved all the looks! I am 70 and still love to create unique looks with colors, prints and textures. Best part of my day is wardrobe planning!
I’m 70 something, and I do toooooo!!! US baby boomers. Still have it!!!! Think young. Lol!!!
When I saw you buying that escada belt, I had a feeling you would wear non stop 😂 absolutely love it on you!

Greetings from London 🇬🇧 I love watching your thrifting videos, they are so inspiring. Love the flea market vids and would love to see a home tour. 😀
Good for you! Today i was ready ti leave and put a broach on my coat. I thought oh no, i have clip on earrings and a necklace i should take something off. But didnt. Thanks for saying that.
Honestly, I think wearing the Escada belt over jeans does not elevated jeans but lowered the belt. Never wear nylon in summer, you will be cooked
where are you? I'm not clear. Looks like good thrifring.
"I like being the most overdressed person in the room." ;)
Liz, Liz where is the Liz? Oh there it is ... and relax.
Love your videos ❤
The olive blazer was absolutely amazing and the dress that needs to be altered!!
Love your videos but get so bummed when you leave thrift stores with plastic bags! Bringing reusable would take your recycled style to the next level.
Thx for sharing location I live over the hill. Now I have two thrift stores to check out Jillian Felice Goes to "hope of the valley " tomorrow I'll make a day off it.
Any great restaurants mid price point ?
love your terry cloth dress
Such a great video! New to thrifting and appreciate you sharing your tips on what to look for.
Annette, you and Beth Jones are bad for my wallet! I am so inspired by you both that I I am now “curating” on a daily basis!
I’d be interested in a your thoughts on which fabrics to look out for, which to avoid, best composition etc. i come across a lot of acrylic and poly mixes that put me off a lot of items.
You have some great thrift stores and you found some great pieces to add into your collection ❤😊

Oh goodness I love that hand knitted sweater!!! And I love the color orange so that little blazer is perfect!
Great tips!
