They're both crops from Gustave Dore's art for Idylls of the King, a series of narrative poems by Alfred Lord Tennyson about King Arthur. Dore has some really cool work out there, real atmospheric. Makes sense that both bands chose to use his work for their album art. Something about romantic art and death metal seem to go hand in hand.
