This is not only one of the best table saw reviews I've seen. This is one of the best reviews I've seen on anything. Concise. Clear. Informative. Tells me exactly what I need to know. Well done.
I've used the Bosch since 2006. In fact I've used the Makita, Dewalt, Hitachi, General, Rigid, etc. I've used ALL of them on job sites. I'm a pro cabinet maker and finish carpenter. I can say without a doubt, the Bosch gives the closest user experience to a cabinet saw that you are going to get in a job-site saw. From a pro perspective, hands down, it has THE BEST fence on the market. Why? Because it is the most similar to what your user experience with a cabinet saw will be. I hate the Dewalt rack and pinion system. Some times you need to remove the fence and use the nice large Bosch table top for other things, or to free-hand a cut. Easy! With the Bosch just simply pop the fence off. The Blade height for a job-site saw is second to none. The weight issue is negligible, it's actually a pretty light saw. The soft start and responsiveness of the motor gives you yet again a much closer experience to a cabinet saw. The Dewalt feels likes like you're using a circular saw bolted to the bottom of a table, as that's essentially what the Dewalt is.
Just a few points, 1. You are NEVER suppose to freehand a cut on a table saw., 2. The fence of the Dewalt can also be "popped" off., 3. While I don't think anyone can deny your preference for Bosch, not sure I'm buying the cabinet saw experience sales pitch...
Short, simple yet informative. No non-sense, no drame. Love your videos. I recently came across this Skil table saw that looks quite similar to the dewalt because of the fence. Hope you can get your hands on one soon for a review and comparison too.
Thank you for this comparison! The soft start, better miter gauge, and back/outfeed support on the Bosch are definitely big points in its favor. Thankfully, it's pretty easy to install a soft start on the Dewalt, but it requires you to buy a third-party soft start module and wire it in.
Kumusta Ka Kaibigan ,,,, by far the best comparison video regarding these (2) table saws ,,, Here in Australia the DewaltDWE492 price in store is $1338.00 Aud,,,approx 35,200Peso @38P to the Aus $Dollar. ,,,, Bosch 10XC is $1309.00Aud,,,approx 34450Peso @38P ,, so I'm kinda leaning towards the Bosch model , Salamat 🙏
One of the best reviews I've seen between these two beauties. I think, in this case, Dewalt takes the cake. 10XC has a lot of features, that is true. But with a price difference of php15k, that would be better spent on other powertools. I love and hate the sliding platform on the 10XC. I appreciate it's there, but it also takes the fun out of building your own personalized table saw sled. Just my 2 cents...
I really wish the Dewalt had those additional features. I fitted a soft start myself. At some point I'll probably add some extensions to make the table effectively bigger. What I would not want to give up is that rack and pinion fence. It really makes my life much easier. Here the Bosch sells for about the same price as the Dewalt.
You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.
Great review, very balanced 👍. In the end it comes down to which one you like best. I will say that after you purchased the extra stands ill bet you spent as much, or close to it. So it comes down to the fence and portability. Great job.
It all depends where you are based. In Europe Bosch is 20% cheaper than Dewalt. In US this is probably flipped around. Thanks to duties and taxes for imports...
I was about to pull the trigger on the Dewalt dahil yung rack and pinion ng fence ang pina ka gusto ko. But the 50Hz frequency yung deal breaker for me. For some this might be ok but as marine electrician by profession, a motor that runs higher rpm than what is was designed for is a no-no for me lalo na for longevity of the TS. Now I'm checking out the specs for the Skil TS.
Could you please compare and make a review between the dewalt and skil ts6307-00 table saw. Both have a pinion fence system. More power and god bless. Thank you
Does both the saws support Dado blades? Also does both the saws use standard size miter slots( 3/4" x 3/8") ?. I am thinking of getting some accessories which requires the standard 3/4" x 3/8" miter slots..
Don’t buy the Bosch I’ve had 2 in 2 years, it’s expensive and the rise/fall fails after 6 months. Bosch denied this happens but I have 40 years experience in woodworking and know a fault when I see one…. Step up Bosch and be the company you profess to be…. My advice steer clear!!!

Both the same price where I live, converted to 900USD. So what you saying is the Dewalt is the bigger rip off for me.... so probably go with Bosch then..
Sir, Ive been planning to buy a table saw. Im just a beginner and would probably be a weekend DIYer. Would you recommend me getting the Dewalt DWE7492 or the Lotus Table saw together with a Lotus Miter saw?
If kaya, I would get the Dewalt table saw. I wouldn't get a miter saw just yet. Get a circular saw instead. Build a few projects and see first if you really feel like a miter saw would be useful to you. It might not. If, however, you do decide to get a miter saw, get a SLIDING miter saw.
On some of your videos on Facebook, I saw a cordless dewalt table saw. Anong model po yun? And how does it compare with this dewalt 7492 aside from it being cordless?
That's the Dewalt DCS7485 Flexvolt Table Saw. I actually did a review of it and because I came from the DWE7492, I pointed out some of the main differences in the video. Here's a link to that review: ua-cam.com/video/9q41VbxEfNM/v-deo.html
One question: In Italy, in this moment, they cost same price. About 640€, on sale. For the same price, which is better? 🤔 I'm hobbiest, but I love wood ad I became to build a small forniture.
Good video. Are there any new options? What about importing from China? It seems even an expensive saw is still fairly low quality. Is there another option to get a good quality saw at any price? I’m from Canada and these saws seem to be quite low quality for the big cost. Thanks for the good video content👍
Everything I ordered from China, and I really mean EVERYTHING over £50 never came or was different from what I ordered. Took 100s of wasted messages to the Chinese alien supports and 3 months wait to get my money back via PayPal. Never again!
Agree - over here the De Walt is silly money and the 10XC is a very solid competitor given the UK price. The Bosch' Achilles heel is the fence, but it's not that bad and there are numerous 'fixes' on UA-cam for it, that make it more reliable. One thing I would do if you get the Bosch is to change out the blade and get a better one to suit your needs; the Bosch blade is ok, but you'll get a much better finish by swapping it out IMO. As pointed out in the video though - it's a handful to carry on your own - but on the GTA 60W (foldable stand) it's a breeze to move around and store.
Had both, the bosch is inferior, a fence you have to fiddle with is a big down side. There are cheaper table saws with the basic same fence that are way better. The Dewalt wins hands down. I can build a sled, ya can’t fix the fence on the bosch.
In reality Dewalt is not concerned with providing a TOP bench saw: -Changed the internal dust insulation, yet the machine still releases a lot of dust. - It is a noisy machine. - The consumer does not have the option to buy this machine at 127 volts. - No disk brake - loose goniometer. - It doesn't have the option of flange size, plastering the consumer to buy other size cut-off wheels (shaft hole flanges for other sizes of cut-off wheels should come as an accessory). - The cutting ruler is misadjusted. - The angle adjustment handle is too hard, as well as unreliable. - It does not fit 254 mm disc, only 250 mm. When you turn the motor on and off, it strangely "sparks". DISAPPOINTMENT! The industries, both Bosch, Makita, Dewalt etc are the same disrespect with the consumer. Adilson you are right! Enough of watching videos of UA-camrs putting their hands on the heads of saw manufacturers just to beg and beg for a shut up and for the sake of the trash!!!!!!! People who sell themselves to the manufacturers of saws and tools in exchange for "jabá". The reality is only one, for the tool manufacturers, we are considered third-rate consumers, not to mention the lack of safety and quality! We cannot and must not accept these equipments and tools without quality, safety and respect to others, it is the lack of maturity prevailing over reasonability, common sense, ethics, safety and respect! We cannot accept that they treat us as third-rate consumers, disowning us and making us consume products without quality. We don't have to accept what the manufacturers want to sell us and push down our throats, precarious, limited machines, which fall short of our needs. Today, the market has a need for portable saws with better quality, as well as features and safety. This "talk" and justification of the industries that these machines are for construction sites only serves to discourage them from launching better saws. Year after year, the so-called "new" machines have no effective advances and improvements. It's the same old thing, the industry's accommodation. What really changes is only the price, always more expensive, without significant improvements for the consumer! Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Thank you, Kuya. Someone is selling the saw for $220 for the Bosch with the stand. I’m a dewalt fan but I can’t beat the price.
Is it the rolling stand? $220 for the table saw AND rolling stand is a GREAT deal! Good find.
Agreed about fence priority, without perfect fence ,table saw is useless .I have cordless Einhell tablesaw ,and it was very bad investment .
