I've used this grill several times now and let me tell you- the food is unbelievable! I've been cooking over wood fires for years and its always been shuffling food around to try to get everything done at the same time- Not Anymore! I wont use any other kind of grill when I go camping- I actually want to put a fire ring in the back yard so I can use the EZ Over Grill at home as well!
This grill is fantastic! I can’t say enough about how much we love cooking with it! I believe that this new invention is the future of grilling. We filled the grill with potatoes and all were baked perfectly; they were soft and delicious! See instructions at the bottom. We were blown away by the ease of grilling a variety of foods, especially the 2 lbs. of bacon. Not only was it wonderful to be able to flip all 30 plus pieces of bacon at once, but it had the best flavor we have ever tasted; all the food did!! Our experience was that: The lid and sides hold in the heat and smokey flavor, the heat can be controlled by raising and lowering the food above the fire, and the grill both flips AND spins. These factors add to the ease of use, the amazing flavor, and uniform grilling of the food. We also experienced shorter grilling times. Another advantage we found with the uniform cooking was that we didn't need to check each piece of food to see if it was finished. For instance, if one of our hamburgers was cooked, they were all cooked and could be taken off together. They were thick and juicy and cooked in the center; so delicious! The numbers on the sides of the grill make it easy to keep track of your seasoned burger, steak, etc. Even with a breeze and/or irregular fire, the spinning compensated for uneven heat. The grill will spin up to ten minutes or more on a single push. Also, you can make a variety of different foods together on the grill. We put chicken on one side of the grill and hot dogs on the other. Because of the shorter cooking time for the hotdogs, we removed them sooner. My brother told me about how nice it was for him with the E-Z Over Grill when they were camping and had to cook in the rain. He would simply hang the lid on the supplied hook, flip the grill, put the lid back on and return to the canopy, as the others were standing in the rain trying to flip each piece of food with one hand, while holding an umbrella over the food with the other. Words of caution, if you’re interested, do not wait to order. I think people will love this grill like we do and it wouldn’t surprise me if the company runs out during the peak season! My husband never had it easier grilling for a large number of people. If he didn’t have the E-Z Over Grill, I’d get him one as an early Father’s day gift! PS Grilling Potatoes: After initial preparation, we wrapped each potato in aluminum foil, tightened the top grill down on them so they wouldn’t move, and flipped the grill every 5 min. over a medium wood fire for about 40 min. Depending on the size of the potatoes and the fire they may take longer. The potatoes shrink when they’re finished, which causes them to rattle when you flip them. When they rattled, we took them off the grill and placed them in an insulated bag to keep them warm until our steaks were ready. We also put a pack of veggies wrapped in foil on the grill with the potatoes. We had an ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS meal!!
Thank you for your feedback!! Feel free to share pictures of food that you have cooked in your E-Z Over Grill. You can post these pictures to our Facebook page or you can e-mail them to ezovergrill@gmail.com
Not too bad tin man ... looks like you might have figured something after all those year of putzing around your blacksmith shop 😜..... I'm going to have to come down and see this thing in action ...
Chad Merkley I don't flip pizzas, but I mentioned them because the lid that comes with the grill allows the cook to bake foods like pizzas, biscuits, cinnamon rolls etc.
Genius. Then u do tributes as themes. Lol. Pioneer looks. Civil war cooking style looks. Camo. Flip down small trays to hold seasoning higher up the tripod. Awesome job! #blockchain.
No, that's not always true. We often grill hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, and chicken at the same time. Since chicken does take a little longer, we put that in the center of the grill, then surrounding the chicken we put the hamburgers, and then the hot dogs (you can see pictures of this on our Facebook page). Now of course, if we are doing baked potatoes or whole chickens then we'll stick those on before the thinner foods so they get a head start on cooking. But it's not difficult to quickly remove the top grate and add the thinner foods when they are ready to go on.
You just made my day befor going to work a midnight shift
This is the best grill ever made.
And the inventor is a great man.
Nice design
Best grill I've ever seen!

Too bad that you don't ship to Puerto Rico. Almost purchased an 18"
Can you show a video on how you flip the pizza?

You only have a problem when you do different foods. Cocking time is different from food to food.
