My pleasure! They would likely supply the majority of the information on the actual FE. Who knows maybe they’ll give you a fully completed table and just ask you to solve for the closure. The goal behind these videos is to cover overall concepts instead of just solve questions in a short time (which isn’t really helpful). You got this!
The calculations have errors. Other than that, I learned to pay attention to bearing in S###W, N###W... etc. I had a similar question in my first attempt for the FE, but I didn't pay attention to those SW and NW; in fact I thought latitude and departures are only counted within the SE and NE regions! Thank you a lot.
Other than the arithmetic error in the end, the explanation was really good. It was very easy to understand. Thank you!
Very nicely presented leaving apart the numerical error in closing..
EL = -0.847, ED = -49.336. Please verify
Sorry about that, you're right. The numbers I used are completely off.
I am wondering where the +174.917 latitude and -196.946 departure came from given? Those aren't the values I'm calculating.
Thank you for v well explaining. ❤
Thanks for the explanation. I'm just wondering how to solve a problem like this in 2-3 m.

This Topic is not covered on FE after July 2020. You should At least mention that this topic will be not covered people who are taking FE exam.
It will be. How do you know it wont? Latitude and departure calcs are fundamental.
