17:52 I exclusively play GW Depths and I can not fathom a reason why a pilot of this deck would ever Crop Rotation in this situation since getting blown out by Daze is a high level of probability. I think it is clear that Sol-e was Crop Rotation flooded (and likely drew the Flagstones on their turn 3 and didn't already have it in hand), but Crop Rotation here to 'mana ramp' going the Flagstones route is probably not the best line and even so has to be done with more patience (less of a priority) since their Swords to Plowshares just got Force of Willed. Not having that addition Crop Rotation proved to be huge. It could have gotten Talon Gates of Madara and phased out the first P Frog so that the Mockingbird was just a 1/1 Flyer. Or even better it could have gotten Sejeri Steppe on the last turn to give the 20/20 protection from Black or Blue to lethal Maxtortion. 21:38 While it is risky in certain avenues, you have to make Marit Lage during the attacks step and attempt to block a Psychic Frog. Maxtortion has two cards in hand and the risks are getting immediately Swords (which is a card we can't beat anyway) so that we can't block and the opponent draws an extra card. The problem is that by not blocking you give the opponent even more opportunity to draw Swords, Wasteland, Prismatic Ending, all of which now beat you when you Crop Rotation in blocks for Thespian's Stage and then let your opponent so to their main phase (where 4 copies of Wasteland speed bump you). This may have been just a misclick/oops type of error, but it was extremely costly. Overall, I think this was very poorly played by the GW Depths player and I think we can see that error frustration in evidence when the player scooped the entire match.

I think it's (in part) because if you're playing Fair Blue, you want to play Frog. But now you've got me thinking about UB Dreadnought decks!

Good analysis, and sometimes people have off days (myself included). Hopefully GW Depths players can learn from what you contributed here.
