Much better option than the Atlas II that I have bought!! The Logbook is useless - There's no way to download it to computer, nor to add or change the DZ or even the aircraft type!!! If it wasn't for the rechargeable battery, I would have returned it..... No support from Alti people as well...

So bummed to hear about your experience. Alti-2 has improved it's support and service, so this is unusual. Please reach out to them here: alti-2.com/contact-us/ If you continue to not get a response, please contact us and we'll get you connected with Alti-2.

Well done, good job, glad you already had it turned on...however in each of your Vids on the Junos you don't cover turning it on or off...any chance you can confirm how exactly it is turned on and off thanks muchly coz that's all I need to know, and its like trying to find out some dark hidden art as it's not even covered on their own website 😤

Have the same question, how does it turn off?

Life is too short to get upset about the silliest things... Alti-2 and most digital altimeters currently on the market switch to sleep mode when not registering any pressure changes for a few hours and then wakes up as soon as any button is pressed or it starts registering differences in altitude. Blue skies!

@@Chutingstar amen...at least I now know, praise the Lord 🙏...Interesting sentiment in your reply, but let's not get hung up on silly sentiments...When I bought the Juno new several weeks ago, there were no instructions in the box, there are no specific instructions on their own website and so that's what spurred my attempts to find out as a virgin digital Alti user. I got your reply today having jumped yesterday. I had decided to assume what you've advised to be the case, my main concern being that after fully charging the Juno when I unboxed it, set it up etc and put it back in the box awaiting my next jumps, it was completely dead, and needed another full charge to get it going again. I would have expected a sleep mode that essentially turns it off not to continue using the battery...is it not odd that it died from being full charged without being used if what you are saying is the case, or does it use the battery whilst in sleep mode? Anyway, not being sure what was going on with it I gave it another full charge, set it up and as said jumped with it yesterday, with my old skool aff alti as back up, and as I'm now writing this, we'll, all went well 👍...I shouldn't think I'm the only person who needed to know, and would be worth updating your helpful Vids to include this minor yet important bit of info for the novice user...keep Chuting for the Stars, thanks muchly from little old US of England 🇬🇧🤙🇺🇸

@@jamesstevenson5631 No worries! Regarding the unit's charge, I am not sure why it is not holding it as Alti-2 claims it can be charged every 4-8 weeks depending on the use of course this may vary. But it could also need a Firmware update which you can do online at this link: alti-2.com/firmware-updates/ If that doesn't solve the issue then you might want to contact Alti-2 UK directly since it is a new unit they can help sort this out. Here is where you can find their information: alti-2.com/repairs/ I hope this helps, Cheers!
