  • American actor, Jack Ging, who had more than 50 film and television roles, from the 1950s, through the 1990s, died at his home in La Quinta, California, on September 9, at the age of 90. He was best known, as General Harlan Fulbright, on NBC's television adventure series, The A-Team.
    Australian actor and musician, Jack Charles, passed away on 13 September, at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, from a stroke, at age 79. Jack Charles appeared in prominent Australian films, such as Blackfellas, The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith, Bedevil, and Pan.
    English actress, Gwyneth Powell, died in Brighton, on 8 September, at age 76.
    She was best known for playing headteacher, Bridget McClusky, in the BBC series, Grange Hill. She played the tough but fair, Mrs McClusky, for a decade until requesting she was written out so she could pursue other roles.
    Marsha Hunt, one of the last surviving actors from Hollywood's so-called Golden Age of the 1930s and 1940s, passed away on September 7, at age 104. In all she had over 100 film and television credits. Her career, extended back to 1935, and ended only fourteen years ago.
    She was known for her roles in films, such as Born to the West, Raw Deal, The Happy Time, and Johnny Got His Gun.
    She also appeared opposite Mickey Rooney, in the best picture Oscar nominee, The Human Comedy, during a period in which she was known, as “Hollywood’s Youngest Character Actress.”
    British actress, Pauline Stroud, passed away on September 4, at age 92.
    She was best known for her appearance, in Lady Godiva Rides Again, a film satire on beauty queens, where she was cast in the lead role, over Diana Dors, Joan Collins, and Audrey Hepburn.
    Robert LuPone, who as an actor earned a Tony Award nomination in the original run of "A Chorus Line", and played Tony Soprano’s family physician, and also helped found and lead the influential off-Broadway theater company, MCC Theater, for almost 40 years, passed away on August 27, at age 76.
    American actor, Joe E Tata, who played the owner of the infamous Peach Pit hangout, on Fox’s 1990s hit, “Beverly Hills, Ninety two hundred ten, passed away on August 25, at age 85.
