Ken, Your step-by-step detail is extremely helpful. Can you do a video discussing the supply and return plenums, relative to good duct system design? I assume the dimensions of a plenum greatly matter, and are dependent on the CFM you are trying to get? Considerations of buying vs building your own too. I'm a novice as you can tell, but really trying to learn all I can. Thanks again for all the great vids. Great work!
@@SimplyRightHeatingCooling Fantastic. FYI, I'm replacing my undersized attic duct system and creating more attic storage space. My plan is to install two 90's directly from the plenum, one trunk going left, the other right. Both trunks will need 2 additional 90's, as each will travel roughly half way around the perimeter of my attic in opposite directions. Left trunk will feed 4 registers (2 upstairs, 2 downstairs), right trunk feeds 5 registers (3 up, 2 down). Looking forward to learning more from your videos!
Disclaimer, I'm not sponsored in anyway, I don't have filming equipment, I produced all these videos from my phone and from home as a means to help others understand the Manual D process. If you find the video unprofessional... that's because it is. There's no need to comment as I won't be changing anything and I produce free content when I have time to help. If you don't appreciate the content for the educational information contained within, then don't walk away mad, just walk away. I know in todays world everyone needs to have an opinion and wants to be heard because their mom told them they were important, but your not to me. It's rather simple. Thank you and I hope you gain information from this series that helps you understand the Manual D process.
