Great presentation. My late dad picked up Washington, Adams, Madison and Monroe rolls at his stamp and coin club auction. Unfortunately, while they're all nice, they all have the edge lettering. Been debating whether to order an entire box of small dollars from my friendly tellers.
Hi! Very interesting! I have Thomas Jefferson with edge lettering, James Buchanan with lettering. And 2 Franklin Pierce , one with position A, one with position B, (one upside-down edge lettering!) These 2 are in very good condition, very shiny, bright gold color. 😃
After this series started, I read an article explaining that the gov had to build an $850,000 building to store them in, because they made so many and the public was rejecting them. So now I wonder just what the inventory is inside that building !?! How many of each is stored in there, in uncirculated condition, still in their unopened boxes ??? And what will happen to them if the gov does away with “cash” and goes to the CBDC.
I would suggest joining Facebook (Meta) groups, as they have worked out great for me over the years. Typically they are buy/ sell/ trade groups and with minimal effort you can join them and become a seller by messaging an admin and "verifying" yourself. Aside from that, I sell collectibles on eBay a lot... I like to look at "last sold" amounts on similar items to gauge pricing for my own items. EBay takes about a 16% fee though. In some of the aforementioned Facebook groups, you can post pictures and get information to help you sell items also. Hope I helped!

When the G.W. $1 coin first came out, I went to a bank in Belmar NJ and asked the teller for 5 rolls of them. He took my cash then went to the vault and brought them to his station. And then, right in front of me, with other customers behind me, he proceeded to open each roll and inspected the coins. It wasn’t until later that I learned about the missing edge letters, and then I knew what he was up to.

Question, do any Presidential Dollar Series have the West Point mint mark “W”?
@solstar4778 commemorative silver dollars have the 'W' mint mark and feature presidents, but they are not from the presidential dollar series.
