Hi Shahriar, when it comes to the number of links, only insert them when it makes sense in the article. This way it will be an authoritative article and you can't go wrong with that. If you have a 4000 word article, you can insert more links compared to smaller articles. The best thing you can do is provide value and only insert links when it adds to the article. You can see Medium Publications as Facebook groups. Members of publications can submit articles, but the editors of the publication will approve them. Usually, these publications have a huge reach, meaning that there will be more eyes on your articles. For example, I'm a writer for "The Startup" on Medium.

Great question. When importing stories on Medium, Medium will add a canonical tag. This tells Google that your piece of content is the original source. This means that it won't mess up your rankings.

I have been on medium for a short while and published about 10 articles on various subjects such as astronomy, weight loss and internet marketing. But I cant seem to work out how to post to a related publisher. I cant find a video or anything to show me ho to get a story into a publisher. I think my problem lies in the fact that I am using a mobile phone and that, maybe, i need to be on a desktop pc or something? Any advise on this matter greatly appreciated thank you.

Hi Shahriar, I haven't seen all of your comments (maybe because of YT filters). However, I'm seeing this one! :) You can only post to publications when they've accepted you as a writer. You need to get in contact with the editors of the publication and submit an application. Once approved, you can submit to publications. Hope this helps!
I found the pops says This story is under investigation or was found in violation of the Medium Rules. Edit story. at the top of my article on Medium. Have you met this before? Are there any solutions? Thanks
