I'm not much of a landscape painter (I prefer portraits), but I get captivated by certain nature details and take a TON of photos. The photos end up looking bland and I'm unsure how to create the **impression** I had in person.

What app are you using to add light to the photograph? Great video by the way.
Thanks very much. I was using procreate on the iPad. I had a photo of the scene in shade and a photo of the scene in light from the same position and I just overlaid the shadow image on top of the light image and then deleted the central area of the shaded image with a soft edged eraser.
