To who don't understand Kin's style because they don't understand about popping, there is many elements in the popping style,Kin's body control, speed control, footwork are amazing, and even more.
Basically, his dancing is something that I appreciate for being different. You're obviously free to not like it. I probably wouldnt have liked his style in my first years of dance either. But just try to see the fluidity of his flow, musicality, and groove. I dont know. Its just dope.
obviously he's directing his comments to people that say kin sucks or his style isn't hard, etc. Your comment was just preference and a legit question.
Re watch his rounds and try to understand the beats HE is hitting, not what you think he should hit. You'll see he catches a lot of small beats that are off the basic popping melody, remember, "Musicality may also refer to fitting a dance to the music being played, with the goal of relating the dance to the music's rhythm, melody, and mood. Beginner dancers usually think they should step on the beats of the music, while more advanced dancers dance to the melody, variations of rhythm, and mood"
its ok tho, i think everyone has a popper that they just dont "feel" so we get confused sometimes when they seem to punch above their weight a lot (in our opinion) none of these guys are that way for me but im just saying i think everyone has 1 or 2 they feel that way about
yea i agree like his style isn't very fun to watch nor is it very difficult. His hits arent't big either I just don't understand how he keeps beating hozin everytime they battle.
holy shit... ive wondering that for months... and i just asked the question on a different video from this competition... personally.. that shit sounds annoying as hell to me.. so much that i have to fast forward those 3 seconds after each round lol.
i've never been a big fan of kins style and as much as I try to like it, I don't really understand what makes him so good... but can someone explain to me what makes him better than many poppers out there? I find him abit tedious to watch sometimes, just my opinion! :)
All the keyboard poppers coming out of the woodwork. None of these guys have seen kin in person or posted a vid of themselves popping. Hiding behind a computer screen while kin is actually battling.
no need to flame, i never said i pop... I just want an answer to my question. I know kins one of the most respected korean poppers but I much prefer hoan, hozin, poppin j and dokyun.
Don't mistake patience for easiness. His style is nowhere near "easy", and I dont think you mistook that word for simple either, because his musicality and set ups are definitely complicated. As for the strength of his hits, power is not the be all end all of popping. That being said, I have disagree with you and say that his hits are definitely fine. His style just utilizes a different way of moving that does not consistently show a regular, "move, stop, hold, hit" way of popping.
Kin is just indescribable and a genius in his own dancing way! Respect that all the dancers out there!
Hozin's laugh at 5:19
Depth, Control, Variation and Musicality. I wasn't a huge fan either until i actually traveled to Korea and saw Him live in KOD 9. He's a crazy dude!
Hozin+Boogaloo Kin= Pure perfection !

Never Seen before a style like Kin does,so particular and rare in this decade!!

To who don't understand Kin's style because they don't understand about popping, there is many elements in the popping style,Kin's body control, speed control, footwork are amazing, and even more.

both was dope but hozin melody was too strong for them in my opinion
:P

lol its fkn obvious
리키가 감동이 장난아닌데? 레베루가 틀리네 춤은 저렇게 춰야지
K-MIN 이랑 스타일 비슷하네
riku uses too much of his body, lacking of basic pop styles :(
