We have a Simply Clean, it makes a full rotation once per hour so the cats don't notice it moving when they're using the litter box. Works really well and the motors that move the tray and conveyor are easily replaced if they ever need to be. We've had ours for a couple of years so we've replaced the tray and conveyor motors at least once. They only cost a couple of dollars.

Another easy tip is instead of using all these gadgets that are expensive. Just feed your cat or dog with precaution. feed it breakfast lunch and dinner going out? no problem just feed them more than enough food for the day.
