Jacqueline was absolutely a beautiful, stunning, classy, smart, wise, strong but, so graceful... Her life she endured much happiness to tragic- life experience. Jacqueline and children went through so much with assignation of her husband and father of her children. We as a Nation of USA were blessed to have her as our first lady! She left us too young. I adored her!
My son's first birthday, that's how I remember the date. So sad that she wasn't properly diagnosed/treated for PTSD right after the assassination but at that time, you didn't even hear of PTSD with service members, let alone anybody not in the military. She was finally totally happy & doing something she loved & was very suited for. I'm guessing she was further along with her illness when diagnosed & her smoking certainly didn't help. She had such an impact on how we look at 'style & class'.
That and losing a third child Patrick is something she didn’t get over understandably. Her secret service agent was asked by her to stay on because she trusted him, and he did for another year after the assassination. He saw a woman if deep mourning. Her devastation that was hidden from the public.
@suestephan3255 There was a baby daughter who had died too. Also her son John & his wife & his sister in law killed in plane crash in the ocean. And the assination of Robert Kennedy. Who both of her children had grown close to after his death. Just too much. JACKIE was a wonderful daughter & wife & mother & friend & sister & employee & first Lady plus an inspiration to many!!!! She led an extraordinary life. RIP ✨️ 🧨 🌟 🙏 🕊 💔 ✨️ 🧨
She knew her husband well and was groomed for a man of his caliber. She understood that infidelity could be a possibility. Women in those days knew successful men had options. Well that's true now and forever. However, They played their role as a housewife. And acted with class in public regardless of husband's shortcomings. JFK just was sloppy with cheating so the public knew about it.. Yes, he should've done better.
It's sad that Teddy Kennedy had so much experience with eulogies. These words of his, about how she was too young to be a widow in 1963 and too young to die in 1994, were exactly right, as was his description of how she led the country in mourning for JFK.
Watching this July 23, 2023. So sad to see this news story. Jackie Kennedy Onassis such a strong lady. Such class, integrity, pedigree. There will never be anyone else like her. Think the World truly loved her. Graceful yes, under tremendous pressure yes. Her jumping onto the truck of car. To get the piece of JFK's skull. Her terror, her bravery, covered in blood. She was concerned about her Secret Service men. Clint Hill and others. What a classy beautiful lady.
I with I would have been alive during her time. I swear I’m obsessed. But I’m always so glad she got to be with John in his last moments. The best part is she gets to see John and the three kids they lost. Then just five years later John Jr. came too.❤😢😊
PS said she only gave an interview to Teddy White, but the interview she gave to Arthur Schlesinger in 64 was revealed not too many years ago. She was quite revealing and blunt
She narried Onassis the wealthy oil tycoon to protect her children & herself out of the publics view & to lead a very private life.. She raised both her children to be fine adults, I feel so bad for her having to raise both of them M w/o their father.
As many a woman have done raised children alone including my own mother. She remained true to herself. I think the best character of her children was not being affected by the Kennedy name. Both were humble people.

I saw that video too, but I am not convinced she was after his brain. I think she was trying to get out of the car! If someone was firing shots YOU'D be trying to get out of the car, and she could have been hit, as the other were. So much for the security all around him.
