    Jacqueline was absolutely a beautiful, stunning, classy, smart, wise, strong but, so graceful... Her life she endured much happiness to tragic- life experience. Jacqueline and children went through so much with assignation of her husband and father of her children. We as a Nation of USA were blessed to have her as our first lady! She left us too young. I adored her!

    My son's first birthday, that's how I remember the date. So sad that she wasn't properly diagnosed/treated for PTSD right after the assassination but at that time, you didn't even hear of PTSD with service members, let alone anybody not in the military. She was finally totally happy & doing something she loved & was very suited for. I'm guessing she was further along with her illness when diagnosed & her smoking certainly didn't help. She had such an impact on how we look at 'style & class'.

      That and losing a third child Patrick is something she didn’t get over understandably. Her secret service agent was asked by her to stay on because she trusted him, and he did for another year after the assassination. He saw a woman if deep mourning. Her devastation that was hidden from the public.

      Also her son John & his wife & his sister in law killed in plane crash in the ocean. And the assination of Robert Kennedy. Who both of her children had grown close to after his death. Just too much. JACKIE was a wonderful daughter & wife & mother & friend & sister & employee & first Lady plus an inspiration to many!!!! She led an extraordinary life. RIP ✨️ 🧨 🌟 🙏 🕊 💔 ✨️ 🧨

      She knew her husband well and was groomed for a man of his caliber. She understood that infidelity could be a possibility. Women in those days knew successful men had options. Well that's true now and forever. However, They played their role as a housewife. And acted with class in public regardless of husband's shortcomings. JFK just was sloppy with cheating so the public knew about it.. Yes, he should've done better.

      It's sad that Teddy Kennedy had so much experience with eulogies. These words of his, about how she was too young to be a widow in 1963 and too young to die in 1994, were exactly right, as was his description of how she led the country in mourning for JFK.

    ?!?!? ...

    • @pillsie
      @pillsie 3 роки тому +8

      For the pneumonia she had that was probably a complication from the cancer, not the cancer itself. If she had taken antibiotics it might have prolonged death by maybe a few days. That's how I understood it. My mom had pneumonia while sick with cancer but the cancer was every where so nothing would have prolonged her life by a few days.
