The village that played Dibley in The Vicar of Dibley also was in the famous musical film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! The windmill in said village, not the village itself!
Oooooohhhhh. I wondered who people were saying was played by the Twelfth Doctor. Also had been looking at Tristan wondering what the actor was famous for, having never realized it was a celebrity cameo.
Let's not forget Cecil, the choir master! He always cracks me up. He carried his wee mouse jn his suit pocket on Animal day, and he was so enthusiastic at Alice and Hugo's wedding.
Please somebody tell me, what song does Jim play just after the christening 15:19? I know I'll slap my forehead as soon as I see the title, but my memory isn't cooperating at the moment. Thank you in advance, kind person with a better memory than I.
@@tejaswoman and also dawnskindnesscountsmost5991, Amazingly (these wonderful Brit actors always surprise me) Trevor Peacock (Jim no no no) was an accomplished musician. He wrote "Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter" by Herman's Hermits! Also, on one episode, that ratty old sheep farmer, "Owen" burst into song with a gorgeous classical voice! Such a hilarious, witty, truly funny series!
I think my favourite character has got to be Alice, bless her. And of course, Mr no no no no yes 😆 love them 💕
I love this show! I've seen it more than once but I never get tired of it!

Eternally swoonworthy ❤
How good is Dawn French? Brilliant comedian.
so much for the "instant" coffee - she was so distracted she never put the kettle on.

I forgot how lovely England was before phones and social media
Get a grip you absolute melt lol
Alice reading from King James Bible and getting her "s's" and "f's" mixed up.
Can’t wait until Christmas. 🎄
Johnny Depp did a cameo too.
OMG I did not realise "Doctor Who" was the BBC producer of "Songs of Praise.....on that ep.

@@tejaswomanyes, Peter Capaldi was a celebrity before Doctor Who!
It's hard to believe that only 2 members of the original cast are still alive (The vicar and Hugo Horton)

Young Doctor, Peter Capaldi. Lovely!

@@rickmartin6147 Thanks. Says something about what I watch, Sean Bean is the only name familiar to me!!
@@rickmartin6147thanks. What are 5 and 6 famous for? (I'd go look it up, but I've already got literally hundreds of tabs open.)
